"If this Bloodhulk is anything like the two runed ones we faced before, it might be worth a try to hit it once with an arrow, and then run away." "But at any rate, yes, let's rest and have a go at it in the morning." Before returning to the Enchiridon of Kurda, Rob spends a few ...

"Yes, I have already summoned an Unseen Servant. After we are all out of the room, I will direct it to open the chest."

Should put some ranks into use magic device Ooh! Nice. So if I understand correct, if I put all 8 ranks into Use Magic Device next level, then that means I will get a +11 for attempts to read scrolls meant for Wizards and Sorcerers.... and the DC is 20+ spell caster level, so I would have a 50% cha...

If I was going to make an enemy that could only be killed by one specific elemental, here is how I would do it. The enemy would have an on-death-bequest attack that cures itself. That would make it unkillable. Then I would give it a counterattack to the one special element which self-targets and tra...

Well, dang. Almost all of these scrolls are useless to Rob. (SAFE TO READ -- BARD 0-4) *Fear *4x Summon Monster I (RISKY TO READ -- BARD 5-6) * N/A (UNREADABLE WITHOUT MORE CHA) * N/A (UNREADABLE BECAUSE OF CLASS) *Polymorph Any Object *Spell Turning *Maze *Disintegrate *2x Interposing Hand *Power W...

Polymorph any Oobject though, that would definitely work. Use it to change him to something smaller, and then get him out of the spears. Once the spell wears off, he's back into a normal zombicore. However, can Rob use that scroll? Oh, maybe not. I had read http://www.d20srd.org/srd/magicItems/scro...

Rob comes a little closer to Bill, and attempts to count exactly how many spears are currently piercing Bill. "If Bill was merely pinned between them, the Freedom of Movement spell would let him wriggle through them like the finest escape artist ..." Rob says as he looks closely. "Bu...

I noticed that way back in the Hatted Inquisitor battle, when Lynda tossed scrolls, Kalar ended up with *Polymorph Any Object *Spell Turning *Maze *Dismissal *Disintegrate and suggested that Rob should use them instead (which is why Rob picked up all the other scrolls off the ground) but I never wro...

Rob casts Unseen Servant . but does not give it any instructions yet. "Ouch! That was ugly." "Look, I think I have a safer way to trigger that trap without hurting any of us, but we should all clear out of here first." "Do either of you have any ideas for getting Bill extra...

Actually, it makes a lot more sense now; thanks! For some reason I can't click on anything in this humble bundle for more details. Interesting use of coupons rather than actually including programs. Sprite Lamp seemed revolutionary when it was first announced. There is now an open-source clone of i...

Whoa! Sprite Lamp! I have been wanting that And although I had not previously heard of Spriter Pro, it does look amazing. And works on Linux! I am sold. Thank you for encouraging me to take a second look at a bundle that I had previously ignored (when it first came out I looked at it and said "...

"This C.Kane game appears to be a comic adaptation of the biblical story of Cain and Abel-- at least that is what I glean from a hasty reading of the title. The screen shots are still in black and white, which strikes me as lazy. Come on! This engine supports sixteen colors or something, please...

Yes, I didn't get around to adding it but I was going to have a message that either confirms the existence of the icon files, or explains where to put them if they are not found.
