Spoonweaver, does sleeping in the Wish-Cabin count as the passage of a day for the purposes of recharging the Lyre of Building? This is my count of days that have passed since Rob played it last: Dat 0: Played Lyre to build longhouse fortification Day 1: Voulton revived, fled from demon lizard insec...

"I could have wished so much better..." he mumbles sadly.

He reaches for a dish, suddenly realizing he is hungry.

"I wish... That our entire party was even more healthy and strong and ready for battle than we were when we all woke up this morning" Rob's sense of terror that he is screwing up this wish is almost as strong as the sense of terror that he gets from the portal above. He hopes that all the...

Rob puts away the Potion of Time Travel, and breathes a little sigh of relief that he tries to hide as a snort of impatience.

The only way to cure level-mp other than an inn is to use plotscripting. It cannot be targeted by attacks. Level MP was just my clumsy attempt to re-create the MP system used by final fantasy 1, which was dramatically different from the usual MP system used by most other RPGs FF1's MP system was its...

Put on the spot, Rob accepts the potion. Inwardly Rob wonders; "Am I supposed to drink it, or splash it about?" He hopes that Dan will suddenly pop back into view and explain whether or not this is a good idea... and if not, perhaps either Kalar or Azedarc will provide their input... ...b...

Rob glances up at the enportaled ceiling.

"That is unfortunate, but it doesn't change what we came here to do."

"Oh, damn... what was I going to do with that wish..." Rob mumbles to himself, wishing he had been paying attention to everything eveyone had been saying rather than just staring with dumb curiosity at the drama that was unfolding with the beholder. "How did he zap those kythons so a...

This should definitely be a built-in feature of chains. Having to do a half-assed version with a painful series of complicated chains is way too much work. I have been looking at the code, and I am trying to decide on the best way to express this. So suppose you have named a stat LUCK. And you want ...

I bet a lot of my script suffer from this too. I tend to use keyval in the same way you do.

I was not fully aware that changing typmatic repeat was a thing that people can actually do.

I suspect SDL and/or Directx is probably doing it?

To Kalar, Rob says "Yes, I'll be ready to use the Wish to our advantage, but I think I want to wait at least until I have seen the exact circumstances under which we will have to fight" To Harvey, Rob says, "I know the choice is not up to me alone, but I vote that we should not negot...
