Oh! I forgot to mention in my first post, there is a bunch of great info at http://5thsrd.org/ That is also the best place to look for the standard races and classes. How to create a character? Those of you who already know can ignore this tutorial, but for new players who want to jump in, I'll cove...

Oh wow! So is Kalar going to be the big boss of a sequel campaign now? :D

Spoons, do you have more planned for this campaign now, or is it okay for me to open up the character-creation thread for my campaign?

Tammytharn weeps.

She kneels by Kalar's head, and leans close, and her tears fall on the ruin of his face.

"Oh, Kalar! Has it come to this? What have you done to yourself? Poor twisted Kalar-- proud noble Kalar."

She makes no move to stop any of the others from what they are doing.

Rob stops singing and takes a deep breath.

He looks at Lynda, and smiles goodbye

He puts his hand on Stumpy's neck, and says to the king, "I am ready to go where my father went."

Rob opens his mouth and begins to sing. He is singing about the exploits of adventurers and the ordinary lives of peasants, and about everything in-between. He seems to be in a trance, and is unlikely to stop singing any time soon. Fortunately, while his normal singing voice is boisterous and loud,...

Oh! I did have one specific question. What was up with the change from "Clover" to "Amber"?

I always though that was important, but I never understood it. (maybe you explained already and I missed it?)

I don't actually have any specific questions, you already covered everything in the local knowledge info-dump earlier in the game. I just really like the idea of Rob being incredibly good at telling stories and singing songs about Averoigne, even when singing about events he didn't actually witness ...

Rob looks around and listens to the others. He looks at his father, and then he looks back to the King. "I know my wish," says Rob, "Please fill my memories with a much of Averoigne as will fit in my small mind. My homeland may be dead and gone, but it does not need to be forgotten. ...

"Could we have saved Averiogne? Where did we fail?" Rob asks, filled with sadness. In his heart, he is not even sure this wish-granting king is real.

Stumpy tucks into the apple with joyous abandon. He has no doubts, and no regrets

Tammytharn clings to the youngest werewolves, tears running down her face. She looks proudly at Kurthanpamun, and says nothing. Rob cautiously approaches the king. "You say I must choose a place to go... But what of my homeland? Is it really gone?" "I WISH FOR AN APPLE!" says St...

Rob had continued singing well after the fight was over. It seemed like a good way to keep himself from looking at the body of his father and the other dead, or from thinking about the wish he had wasted before the battle. Harvey 's words finally snap him out of it, and he goes to search his father...
