Normin focuses his attention upward, and as the remaining smoke and steam swirls out the vents and holes, he can make out many moving wires, some snaking vine-like around the wooden supports, and others that seem to to protrude into the fabric itself. Although the movement and position of the wires ...

When Cece gives directions to the wax dummies, the hesitate-- not actually looking at her, but angling their bodies slightly towards her. Then they start a lurching march in the direction that she indicated. Now that she is closer, she can see that there are sinewy bundles of wires coming out the to...

Arcadia moves back away from the confusion. Kailyn also moves back a bit, and surveys the area. There is no other door besides the main one, although he can now see the opening at the far end that Petrol started and Caldon enlarged. There seem to be people moving down there... and dancing? Normin sp...

Petrol, Ebald, Rasvim, and Cece all rush the flame in the far back with buckets and waterskin. They jump over the two wax bodies as they do this. This deluge almost completely quenches the roaring fire Caldon (and Ursula who followed him) see a splash of water come out the charred hole followed by w...

Normin repositions himself at the top of the right-hand stairs to better fill buckets. When he casts Light, the room immediately goes from black-and-smoky to white and smoky. The thickness of the smoke near the ceiling and in the far back becomes apparent. One more body is clearly visible on the lef...

Yes, I'll say the best place to fill buckets is sitting at the top of one of the stairs. You can fill on that level or pour down to the lower level, and nobody needs to climb any stairs for bucket refills But if you stay up there too long you might start to take smoke damage like Kailyn did (I would...

Rasvim and Ebald take the second body from Kailyn, as Cece gets hers down the stairs In a moment there are three gruesome bodies sprawled out in front of the tent. Arcadia casts Spare the Dying on them, and there is absolutely no effect, as if she had cast the spell on a lump of wax... which is appa...

Ebald drags the first body out of the front of the tent, and lays it limp near Caldon's feet. Caldon notices: As Ebald draws his cloak away from the body and goes back for another, Caldon can see that some of the person's face peels off, sticking to the cloak. The face looks horrible! Disfigured and...
