Sharn Sharn's mage hand can't get the bucket over the last bits of flame, but the water is still pouring down, saturating the charred wood and leaving the remaining flames no place to spread to. The teens seem to sense that the threat has passed, and they start to cheer. They were already risking t...

I am very happy that you are reporting these bugs. Please continue! :) I suspect that the resolution message is a red herring. That is just detecting his desktop resolution so it will know what virtual resolution to pick. The weird number is probably just a result of subtracting the menu-bar or some...

It sounds like you might have a leg item as the "default weapon" look in the hero editor, under "Appearance"

Normally the default weapon is something like "fist" or "barehand"

I really should make caterpillar stretch something that can be controlled as a built in feature, but I'll have to clean up a lot of code to make it happen

Unfortunately there is no easy way to fix this You can plotscript your own caterpillar, but it will not be a simple script. One approach would be to disable normal movement, and script your own movement when the player presses arrow keys Then you would have to keep track of a history of the last 3 s...

Yeah, there is so much that seems poorly thought out or just thrown together. I didn't realize that Zombie sieges ignored light levels. I wonder if that is new? I never saw it happen back when I was hanging around in Wallachia, and we had tons of villagers even then (but maybe I was too far away fro...

Nice! Closures will come in handy. I use those often in my python code.

Would a plausible short syntax be something like?:

Code: Select all

set timer (i, 0, 5, closure(hurt flash(ref, i)))

That appears to be an 8 bit (256 color) BMP file That means thus is probably a flaw of the sprite tool you are using. Even though you have limited it to 16 color, it doesn't actually support saving in the 4 bit version of the file format. You might have to open and re-save in some other image editor.

Hyne notices that rather than clustering up front with the drummers and trumpeters, the honor guard has split into pairs and spread themselves out along the procession. They look more attentive and ready than they did before. The forest feels empty of wildlife in a way that is perfectly natural near...

Duke Borgan leaves off his conversation, and hastily resumes his position at the lead of the procession. The procession slowly starts to roll again. Children run along-side the king's wagon, shouting and laughing in a completely un-solemn way, but nobody seems to mind. They leave off when the road n...

The whole journey to the capital will take 3 days.

The first day is half over. Tomorrow is all travel, and the day after that, the procession will arrive in the capital in the evening.

(We'll be able to fast-forward through a lot of that when nothing is happening)
