These are the original ver...

I thought I was posting in the wrong spot and I was waiting to get trolled http://cdn2.knowyourmeme.com/system/profile/icon/14135/small/TrollFace.png But seriously, welcome welcome. I'd recommend playing Vikings of Midgard and Wandering Hamster if you haven't already, and if you're curious, there's...

Wahh, time has flown by far too fast. I just took a look and saw that I've got 400-500 text boxes worth of dialogue and story material left to integrate. Things aren't boding well; I'm going to have to cut my game off even earlier than I expected. That said, everything's working fine and dandily, it...

On a whim I came up with two characters. Feel free to do whatever with them. http://i185.photobucket.com/albums/x98/Baconlabs/thisguyisabee.png I'll call this guy Javier, but you can call him whatever. Enjoys scavenging for items to collect or sell, especially when it comes to beachcombing, though h...

As for the thread - maybe consider using both graphics? Variety is pretty good, and you've already done the work... This is a neat idea, I've been thinking about it for my games. What I do is have a basic enemy concept, then make different poses for it and use them interchangeably when putting the ...

Donkey Kong Country Returns

I know these forums are mostly for RPG-related stuff, but this game is simply too great to be ignored. Music. <object width="560" height="340"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/sPxvLzakED8?fs=1&hl=en_US"></param><param name="allowFul...

Attempting to spawn on death fails with 8 enemies

Possible bug: I have an enemy that spawns another enemy on death when there's already 8 enemies on the screen. My assumption was that the new enemy would spawn on top of the dying one, but this is not the case: The new enemy does not spawn at all. I searched bugzilla and didn't find anything similar...

With this new information in mind,
It's not the cutscene's placement in the video that's unusual - its existence in the beginning of the game is what has me intrigued.
I should save these opinions of mine for a review article when the game's actually out.

This looks amazing. I'd be honored to lose to it. I especially like that eyeball technique cutscene, whatever it is. I'm looking forward to seeing how it's used. The one thing I didn't enjoy were the unusually dark and realistic cutscenes that look fresh out of a murder drama on TV. They're so diffe...

I think I have enough people in favor of keeping the original deadline that there doesn't seem to be a need to extend it. Consider this that extension I offered you over the summer when I thought you'd need one. December 15th for low bounties, December 30th for high ones. Everyone in agreement? Goo...

I'm finally moving onto plotscripting. It's been so long since I did this! It's so time-consuming, and yet it's incredibly fun to watch everything unfold Image
