Full disclosure: I haven't played Brawl in months and I wasn't great at it back in the day, either. But I still enjoy a good game.

You're talking out your slimehole here. Those are called "palette swaps" and were used in almost every game, RPG or not, prior to the PSX era. (Mario has red turtles and green turtles, for example.)

Fortis has already supplied me with graphics for more Slimebots than I have ideas for. I agree that a low-level Slimebot is a good idea, though.
