NOTE: Due to (major) oversight, the following bugs were not corrected in the 48-hour release: - Weapons and armor do nothing :( - You start out with 2 minutes less than you should - Cleric didn't get the +15 bonus on Heal Magic - Bag size wasn't being enforced (that's the funky-looking fourth stat) ...

http://www.slimesalad.com/forum/viewgame.php?p=61523#61523 Maze of the Red Mage , a mini-roguelike. Can YOU escape the vile clutches of the Red Mage? A complete game takes 5-10 minutes, but you will probably need to play several times before you'll win. (edit) I keep finding new bugs. If you are the...

Maze of the Red Mage

The Red Mage has captured you! You have been taken to his lair in the north. He weaves a powerful spell to enslave you. You have only a little time to escape! Maze of the Mage is a mini-roguelike produced for the 2009 48-hour contest; the source is included and the game is unpassworded. Based on the...

Sorry :( In all fairness, phpBB 2 doesn't have the functionality to move posts between existing threads anyway.

8-bit, you are hereby under arrest for topic hijacking. Your penalty is that I deleted your post instead of moving it.

At least, that's my story. Honestly, I thought you'd reposted it yourself. I'm really tired.

I'll have to stay tuned for the contest theme. Maybe it'll spark my interest!

Oh, uh, I do vaguely remember that. But she also said it looked great, and I think I posted that in your CP journal. They're Fortis's slimes anyway, so unless he gets upset, I don't really care what you do with them. (edit) oh pee ess, you should make the new levels as a separate "level pack,&q...

Oh, oh, one more thing. It would be great if you hotkeyed the tools to 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6. There were a few times that I wanted to do clever tricks involving fast tool-switching, but I couldn't pull them off with the current UI.

I also -- and now I'm getting greedy, but -- I would also like to see more slime types. It was really cool figuring out what each slime could do. (The tutorial is for wimps.) You don't need to add extra tools for this if you have them spawn in different forms. Maybe you have a devil slime that turns...
