Aha, found it. It was happening when you aimed a four-directions ability off the map. (edit: unfortunately, this will persist in your current battle -- sorry!)

In related news, spears, sticks, and fabrics are now four-directional attacks (no more aiming diagonally).

I just tried to violate the caps, and it let me-- does that mean it will automatically reduce the brave and faith to fit into the allowed range? Or does it mean the code to block out-of-range units is broken? The former sounds better to me. It would also be nice if you could use units that are high...

This game is so cool. Mogri, you are awesome. I found another bug. In battle #34, my wizard cast Bolt 3 on square G5. yellow targetting tiles correctly showed that I would hit two of Baconlab's units. But when the attack actually happened, it targetted G4, hitting one of his units and two of mine. ...

Yes, completely crazy. It's actually very simple: Teleport success% is 100 minus 10 for each square beyond your Move. I suppose I can put in an indicator for that.

That's not the first time I've seen a deformed map. Wish I knew what was causing it. Maybe I'll find out.
