Projects you don't have time for

Hey guys, let's talk about games we'd like to make but can't (for any reason, not just lack of time). Maybe someone would like to help you make your game. Maybe your idea will inspire someone else. Who knows? My concept is kind of a mix between Recettear, Harvest Moon, and Half-Minute Hero. The idea...

This is pretty funny in light of the code you just posted. "arg" and "npc ref" are the arguments to your script (just like "~" and "on" are arguments for set tag).

Quoting works, too.

What phone do you use? Works on Windows phone.

My one misgiving with the concept is that it's One More Site, when there's already hardly enough lifeblood to go around. Given the slow rate of releases (a handful a month), what's going to make people come back to the site? On another note, the name indicates that it's OHR-only. Was that your intent?

On this topic, I've been thinking about making a new ohr website. I love Slime Salad to death but I just don't think it's very new person friendly. It's too much of a community site and not enough of a game site. (Also I think the name turns people off more than a little.) I'm thinking of calling t...

All that matters is telling a story well, using or avoiding archetypes and common themes doesn't matter. There's a reason Hero's Journey stories have been around for thousands of years. Writing one isn't bad. Writing a boring story is. Also "World War II" is a setting, not a plot device. ...

I'm not sure if things have changed in the past year, but you used to be able to create an account (which is free), log in, and play single player locally.

You didn't actually ask a question here. Which part do you need help with?

Please don't say "the entire thing."

Yes. It's in the ~100MB zone. I can't guarantee your upload will work, but you're welcome to try.
