I'm not sure how to find it, but the scariest NES sound for me was the little ditty that played when your Dragon Warrior saved data had gotten somehow corrupted, and the game was polite enough to tell you with a little screen that you just got slimed.

I opted for the lumping technique. However, I encountered a new, very minor bug. It appears that relump.exe cannot handle passwords. It asks for the password, but won't accept more than keystroke (which appears as an asterisk), which cannot be backspaced either. Almost as if it thinks it is waiting ...

Hm, here is a question. Is it safe for me to use the latest silence nightly to be able to delete the offending song, but then revert back to the stable Ypsi+1 to continue working on the game?

Well, the game has crashed during various songs according to my playtester, but I did find one song that consistently crashes in custom. Using the silence backend, I inspected it (I could not even get its name to come up in Ypsi+1), and it is a song titled "Silence". It was basically an em...

Okay, I've got a SAV file from my playtester, and it appears that there is a serious music-related issue going on. I played the given area of my game, and as soon as the serious scripting began (including, among other things, commands for stopping songs and playing other songs), the game crashed wit...

Sorry for ditching out a bit early on you guys there. This is the first night in a long while where the lag actually got bad, and it was kind of getting to me. I don't mind that much when a bomb appears randomly in front of my face (that's funny), but I do start to get frustrated when I lose because...

Hey kids, there's a chance of me and a friend or two trying to sign on sometime this evening. Maybe 10ish, EST? Thoughts?

He is using Windows XP Service Pack 3. No word on the silence backend yet, and unfortunately he has saved beyond the problem areas, which didn't start until over 10 hours into the game. We'll have to wait and see if he can find another crash.

Another bug in new stable

Okay, this report is going to be a little vague I'm afraid, as I have not personally seen it, only my playtester. Apparently game.exe will crash occasionally during certain battles. Based on what he's telling me, the only battles where this has occurred have had some certain characteristics: 1. They...

Hm, expanding on Mogri's comment, it would be great if there were actually two options - one to revert to original, and one to 'go back one' in the list of transmogrifications. But I guess that that would mean that every single transmog in a battle would have to be recorded, and that might not be pa...

I may have a couple of friends trying to get on around 10ish EST. If anyone's feeling it I'd say try signing on around that time tonight. But I might already have a full room, it's hard to say at the moment.

I tried not to use any character more than once except Peach at the end (both wins, so Hawk's not THAT terrifying as Sonic, haha). Oh, and I remember using Dedede twice because the first match I had a couple dumb deaths and didn't want that to be my only Dedede match. I think JSH likes to be hard on...

It's 8:41 here, I'm getting on now. EDIT 11:10 now, jesus you guys like to play for a while! I couldn't do two nights in a row for much over two hours. Tonight was awesome, too many great moments to recall them all. Here are a few of my favorites: *Wonderfully dumb deaths for me with Ganondorf early...

Man we played for a while, and some crazy matches in there too. I definitely laughed out loud a couple of times! I'm glad Baconlabs and me got the Wario chant going in the one match near the end, haha. I'm still not a fan of the Smashballs, but I still had a great time. My little brother couldn't se...
