Okay Mogri, I thought a bit more about DYWTBAH and I wanted to voice my opinions here before you rolled that bugfix. First off, I think a pause button would be amazing. More importantly though, I think one of two things should happen. Either make menues and shops pause the timer (this would be my pr...

Okay, I'm going in order based on the wiki list of HotOHR games, but I'm going backwards so that I play the 'late' games first, and don't start the 'on time' games till after the actual bugfix deadline. So first impressions on Do You Want To Be A Hero, typed more or less as I played: -No spell descr...

Okay everyone, I've just uploaded the final bugfix version of Tales of the New World II, my HotOHR entry. There are some hero-based fixes that will require you to start over with this file; I'm not sure how to get around this unless you want to send me your .sav folder and have me 'update' your hero...

Confirming that the condition changing mid-battle doesn't seem to be an issue (I screwed up). However, discovered that the ordering of the attacks in the editor is important (as in, their actual attack IDs) - so if your attacks are working AND they are targetting different target-classes, it might b...

Regarding bug 851 (no need to clog the HotOHR thread)
Hey guys, I promised James a testcase for bug 851, and I've made it, but there's definitely some weird voodoo going down. I'm wondering - has anyone else been using instead chains at all? If you have, obviously they've seemed to be working. Can we see when they work? And of especial importance: is a...

Okay, new version up, fixing all bugs I could find (I think) on a self-test. I'm waiting on word from Pepsi Ranger to add those other things before the deadline. I'm also going to try to have a friend play through the game before the final bug-testing deadline, but there's some chance that this will...

J Taylor: No! The game uses some things that are in the latest nightlies, but not in Ypsi+3, I'm fairly certain. Please try with the latest nightly and tell me if it still crashes. I've played this game MANY times the last few days and haven't had any crashing (again, besides the item/equip script e...

Okay, I have just uploaded a much better version of Tales 2 with a good number of bugs/balance problems fixed (mostly small things, but a couple pretty big things, including the workaround I described earlier). There is one unnecessary part of the gameworld that is not yet tested; I will get to that...

Hey JSH, I just finished reading those Mark Reads things! Pretty fun, and usually pretty funny too. I liked some of his formats more than others, and definitely disagreed with a couple of things, but overall I found we had pretty similar thoughts in a lot of places, and regardless, it's always inter...

Boy, I wish I saw that earlier. Yeah, there is definitely something wrong SOME OF THE TIME with conditional chaining. I will try to put together a test case later tonight, but in the meantime this is what I've discovered so far: *Tags have nothing to do with it. My attack depends on checking a stat....

Okay, one of us is terribly confused. The downloads page on the OHR site claims that the newest stable release is Ypsiliform+3, so what do you mean by Zenzizenzic? On the other hand, if you also downloaded the latest nightly and it screws up as well, there is something serious going down that I am t...

It crashed...??? Tales 2? Has anyone else seen this? When you say you opened with Zenzizenzic, you don't mean Ypsiliform, do you? I'm just about ready to upload a new bugfix version that fixes lots of small issues, but if the game is crashing, then I'd like to fix that first. If you meant Ypsiliform...
