Oh, just remembered the whole "rereleases should post a save file/description of where the new stuff starts" bit in the rules. Or does that not apply to "OHR Legends" entries? I guess I could post an "end of Beaverfoot" save file, possibly one where the Chapter 6 sidequ...

Not sure why I haven't posted here yet... Anyway, a Spanish-language version of Okédoké is actually something I've considered for the future of the game now that it's finished, though at the moment I'm pretty busy with other stuff and don't have time to make it myself (that was my original plan.) It...

Mountain at the beginning of the game The layout reminds me of the mountain areas in Final Fantasy 6, what with the "cave leading out to small grassy cliff-type area with another cave" sort of thing. I can't get a good feel for the actual graphics from such a zoomed-out view, but the layo...

Wow. I think I recognized maybe two characters before scrolling down to the beach where Powerstick Man, the Walthros guys, and Monterey Penguin are... I wonder if anyone can actually name all those characters and what game they're from. XD (...is that Jessie from the Pokémon anime in one of the wind...

I think I can only recall hearing about... maybe two actual DBZ games made using the OHRRPGCE? There was a really old one called "Assault of the Saiyans" or something like that, and then there was a much more recent one that I can't remember if it ever got a demo released or not. But yeah,...

Looks like a pretty good list. A good mix of old/new games, finished/in-progress/abandoned games, etc... If you need reference pictures for Señor Death, I would go by the Señor Death comic I drew last year (not the cover picture, that one's kinda bad--mostly because I put too many bell things on his...

Does the King enemy have the "Boss" bitset set on? I seem to remember that in at least one past version (if not the current one--I can't remember if this was fixed or if it's technically a bug at all), that bitset basically made the battle end as soon as you defeated that enemy. Or maybe t...

Hmm... "do not chain if attack fails" definitely should prevent the chain from happening. I know that's how some multi-hit moves are set up in Okédoké, and when one hit misses the whole chain stops rather than chaining to the other attacks anyway. It's also how attacks that stun as a side-...

I've never noticed any slowdown caused by every map layer being used, no. A few of the later maps in Okédoké used every layer in order to have several layers of pipes coming out of the walls and overlapping each other, and this area never seemed to run any slower than previous less-layer-heavy maps ...

I think what's happening is that spawning is being triggered by being *targeted* by an attack with that element, even if it misses. Try making the Pokéball attack a two-part attack. The first one has the high miss chance you mentioned, but does no damage and has no element; set the attack to chain t...

Interesting graphical style there. Reminds me of some of the older computers I fiddled around with when I was in elementary school--the little old gray-box Macintoshes they had sitting around in my elementary school classrooms for a couple years early on, and this old laptop my dad had for several y...

The next question is how to make(if it's even possible) overhead tiles, on wich you can walk walk over if you get on their "height". You'll probably need a script that puts the tiles on a different layer (above/below the hero, depending on what level you're on) and alters their walkabilit...

Off the top of my head, my first thought is to use an after-battle script that increases a global variable whenever you win a fight. Upon leaving a dungeon, that variable is reset to 0. Then an instead-of-battle script will check to see how high that variable is and possibly skip the battle, with a ...

Sounds like a neat idea. I know I like to get into a lot of fights when I first get to a new area in a game (mostly to see all the different monsters that show up--it's really disappointing when people don't put hardly any variety in their random encounters, though...), but after a while I'm more li...

2. The game doesn't have ripped graphics, material or characters in it. "Material?" Does that mean music/sound effects (...which disqualifies a huge portion of OHR games... especially in the case of music... though sound effects not so much anymore thanks to SFXR!), or what? I mean, I sup...
