Would it be too late for me to submit [game]Christmas Stars[/game] for this contest?

I was planning on making something specifically for this year's HotOHR but life's gotten in the way so I haven't been able to make much progress on that.

I agree with thecrimsondm, maybe this contest is the push in the right direction I need to make one or two games I've been thinking about for a while. Hopefully this year will mark a comeback for me developing games in OHR.

Is that a gosh dang Frog and Toad reference? I still have the treasury, it's honestly still one of my favorite all-time books. And I started playing the demo by the way. It looks and plays great so far. I especially love how lived in and much more alive Beta City feels now. More RPGs should have tow...

Christmas Stars

Quite possibly the world's most late-submitted Christmas-themed game. Enjoy!

Music made by me, in Beepbox.

Pepsi Ranger, thank you so much for all the time and effort you put into this whole thing, I don't even care if it took us this long.
That retrospective was a fascinating read, interesting to see how the community evolved over time through this contest.

@TheMan I didn't know, appreciate letting me know. It's a bit too late for me to adjust the character (maybe). I've taken many liberties on how I wrote everyone. Hope nobody gets upset, and if so, i can always change it afterward. I don't really mind, it's a very cute design either way. And ugh I s...

Hanu in Hell - 2/10 The character graphics are nice and detailed, if a bit derivative of Pokemon. However it's clear this game is still a long way off before completion, let alone a playable demo. Hinterlands - 7/10 Drags a little in the beginning (reaching Level 2 was a chore) but after that explo...

I'm probably going to make a short little game about a succubus luring angry villagers into her mansion so she can gobble them up.

Really Hard Game - 8/10 The Newgrounds comic-esque artstyle is great, coupled with a surreal sense of humor that matches its occasionally obtuse puzzles. Also pretty replayable with the various classes. Rolling Radical Revolution - 8/10 This is a very fleshed out and charming traditional RPG that f...

Drydocks - 7/10 Clearly a lot of work went into the system and design in the world. With a bit more fleshing out of the mechanics and bugfixing it could easily become something even more exciting. Bale - 6/10 The game starts off strong with an interesting sci-fi/post-apocalypse setting but meanders...

Aw crap, those are exactly the games that I still haven't touched yet (and Bale). I'll try to play at least 15 minutes and give a quick score of each.

hey Kefyrra, I played through Birdcaged and am compelled to fanboy a bit, my apologizes. The aesthetic is great, and while the character encounter scenes were short, they were lots of fun and creative (that wedding). One of the rare games where i grimaced my way through random battle padding. smash...

Dark Planet - 6/10 Very cool music and an interesting, fleshed out UI but with various clashing art styles which I found slightly-off putting. I'm a bit interested to see where the plot goes, though i can't tell whether it's building up to something or if it's just an episodic mission structure. He...
