Re: The "I'm writing a book" thread
I recently started writing short stories again, after a year of arguing with myself about it - pulpy, space-adventure stuff. Also, I'm a member of a very friendly, laid back writer's group that was formerly local but went online with the pandemic and stayed that way, if anyone would like to join le...

Re: Terminal Attractor: dev thread
The project looks good, is it still in development? I would like to play it when it is finished :D It will be in development for a while. with the overhaul, I'm going to try to include most of the stat handling and graphical vibes from the original, but it's all going to take time. I do feel like t...

Re: Terminal Attractor: dev thread
I started tinkering with this game, by way of a complete overhaul. Battles will now take place on the map, using space and barriers to add depth to the battle system. Also, enemy bots will be able to follow you. So I'm hoping the experience to be more of a mix between a roguelite, rpg, and run and g...

Space Harrier OHR Demake
For RMZ and PJ's B-Day contest/RGC 2023. I did 75% of the work on this game in one week, once I figured out how it should all work. It's not perfect, but hey! A contest is a small level-up and I love that I can't win this one. Controls are: Alt/Esc - Pause Spacebar - Shoot Arrows - Move Should work ...

I'd include time girl 1998 or killer of dead in the bundle, for sure. complete yet small projects. I could even do a little update for the bundle.

For someone who's co-hosting this contest, sorry I haven't been hyping it on here much. That changes now. Here's a peak at what I'm working on.

Re: The "I'm writing a book" thread
Sooooo, I wrote "The End" after the final chapter of my second novel today. I still need to give it a couple editing passes, and a couple read-aloud passes, but I will be looking for beta readers before too long. Also, for anybody who can't commit to reading the whole 75k words, I would a...

Hansel and Gretel get sent off to get lost by their negligent mother only to find the candy-hoarding house of Frankenstein's Monster. Monster raises the kids to be their own. The highly intelligent and verbose monster teaches the kids to do great things while continually thwarting the Doctor Victor'...

Re: OHRRPGCE feature requests/suggestions
I see .vgm files are supported by SDL Mixer X (via the game-music-emu library). I've been considering for years whether to switch from SDL_mixer to SDL Mixer X. It adds lots of features and libraries and I think is pretty large, so I would want to disable parts of it. So maybe someday but don't wai...

Re: OHRRPGCE feature requests/suggestions
is there anyway we can get support for importing/playback for .VGM music files? It's just a thought, as it could make my .rpg files considerably smaller.

thanks you all for playing my game. I'm glad most of the feedback has been in reference to things I can fix before next release, whenever that happens.
