I just drew this death sprite for the monster 'Sackharine' and I feel so bad for it, so sad...
Though, it's certainly a better outcome than if you let it feed on your blood and then defeat it...

I put a little more time than usual into making a tree. I'm still trying to figure out how to draw leaves, but I accidentally switched palettes and noticed the master palette I'm using has some great fall colors.

This guy's name is spelled D-A-Q-I-X-E. For years I'd intended people to pronounce this as "Daniel", but recently changed my mind since I don't think that's funny anymore. "da-KEESH", which you can still shorten to Dan if you want to.

My game has a 16-color palette, but while I try to use as few colors as I can on a character I don't stick to a hard cap of three, four, or even five colors if I think more will look better.

Not currently, but I think that'd be a great touch!

Also, Taco Bot, I'm really loving the ZX Spectrum look of the dream, I think that giving it a totally different feel to the rest of the games assets will really help it feel surreal and ...dreamlike!
