Speaking of cantrips, I'm a little curious about the limitations of Prestidigitation. Specifically, what constitutes "an instantaneous, harmless sensory effect, such as a shower of sparks, a puff of wind, faint musical notes, or an odd odor."
I notice that it seems like all the senses but taste are covered there, presumably because it's rather more targeted than the others (everyone in the room can't suddenly taste garlic the way they could hear musical notes).
I guess my question is, would this cover things like Gandalf's smoke rings or is that a more elaborate illusion?
(PS: I love the way Kailyn is getting maximum value from Thaumaturgy. When you can do cool stuff every round, there's really no reason not to)

Cantrips rock :)
I don't know how prestidigitation and thaumaturgy work for other DMs, but if you use them in a way that sounds really cool or makes me laugh I may be inclined to attribute real benefit to them
Kailyn's "bishie eyes" actually made me lower the DC on his persuasion check when he was trying to hire Ursula and those other two guys (although only on Baldie, and it wasn't enough to make a difference)
I have been treating the two groups on Sausage row as if they are walking apart, but still within sight of each other (mostly because I don't remember how the 8 of you are split up either)

I think Ebald is with Normin's group as well.
Currently:
Cece, Kailyn, and Evangeline are in the first group.
Normin, Ebald, and Petrol are in the second group.
Rasvim went home to drop off inventory and is on his way to meet up with the second group, but he's run into Ursula on the way.
Sharn ran off on her own.
Arcadia is still at the tavern with Lady Kari.
Not sure what Caldon or Bobo are doing.

If those are the groups, then Caldon is staying with Kailyn (to keep an eye on him).

Since I'm a Wizard, can I copy the spell to my spellbook and prepare it as normal?
No, it is not a normal spell-- it will actually give you a spell-like-power that does not use up a spell slot.
Since Normin has such a great INT modifier, he could read the pamphlet and learn the spell in a single 1-hour sitting of undistracted concentration

Rasvim looks very irked. "Well, helmet didn't ssssseem to work earlier for Rasvim..." He mumbles something and keeps walking.
Oops! I totally should have let you roll at advantage when you yelled at the rumblebackers-- I forgot you were wearing the helmet. I'll remember for next time (it wouldn't have change a whole lot if you had stopped them anyway)
