In time for the game's 10th anniversary and some prodding by certain people, I did some spit-shine work on the game for the latest nightly engine version. If you want to use the rpg file by itself, you will need to at least be on the July 30th game engine version.

What's new in this version?

DOS:
- Original MS DOS release updated to Hasta la QB+. Unlicensed music was removed and some minor stuff fixed.

Not DOS:
- Where applicable, the new Hero Formations functionality has been used in the game. Hero Formations were added in the May 2015 nightly of the engine.

- Proper targeting cursor data for 700 enemies added.

- Sound effects added.

- Enemy sounds added.

- Some attack sounds added.

- A key reference menu was added

- Any remaining attack bugs were found and squashed.

At this point, this is probably the last real update of this game. I'll have some stories/tidbits up in the next few days to mark the occasion, but seeing as it's been 2 years since the last 'fixit' update, the game's age, and the spare time available.. 10 years is a cool update to have Smile

Every time I've tried to download this game in the past decade, I wound up with nothing. I look forward to downloading this, leaving it to sit in a folder for about a year, then playing once or twice.

Have you ever thought about entering the Review Contests?

I think the thought has crossed my mind three times before. Well four as of now.
