OHR 2015 Summer Harvest Agricontest

I played both games (on my phone!)

I enjoyed Sprout, but I was not able to beat it. I am wondering if I found a bug.

I managed to find two of the plantable items, and I planted them in the screen with four pots, but when I left the screen and came back they were gone.

I also found the teddy bear and the teapot, and placed them at the table, but when I walked away and came back later they were gone.


Farm Adventure has a pretty powerful sense of atmosphere for such a tiny joke game. Unfortunately, if there is more to see than just the one ending, I wasn't able to find it.

There is only one ending. It's based off a weird dream I had.
I look forward to playing sprout.

I'll look into the bugs. I have an idea of what might be wrong. There is an option in the menu to erase your save data if you have to start over.

EDIT: I managed to recreate what happened to you. There's some tag issue, but it seems unrelated. There might be several other bugs like this.

About Sprout,
I liked the item system. It was a nice surprise. The game had a lot of neat little surprises. I could see something like this being really fun. However, it seemed very unpolished. Even just some of the edges of some of the tiles being redone, or the wallmaps being consistent would do wonders for the game.

Oh absolutely. My original intent was to draw each map individually, minimalising the repeating of tiles to my best capabilities. However, I started working on the game too late and was bent on just making the game playable from beginning to end by the deadline. I managed to do that, so now I just need to work on polish and bug fixing.

I'm glad you liked it though. I tried going for a very small scope on this game as to not get overwhelmed. Although I don't know if the game is boring. That was my biggest worry.

First of all, you're silly and I respect that.

Second of all, I'm working on polish like you said. There are a few more bugs that I want to get fixed before I release another version, but I'll post a screenshot here for now.
