So, I was making a Zelda 1 like RPG in AS3 and then I heard about the recent Adobe Hacking attack and emediently stopped because of how scary it sounded. So I was wondering, if I could just redo it in the OHR. Any script ideas for combat or items? Because I'm pretty bad at programming in HamsterSpeak and I'm still learning it... I'd need solid solutions for programming my Link to be able to sword-fight his enemies, and a good version for a Health and Items Hud. Also, scrolling screens like in a OHR game I forgot the name of, which had scrolling screens similar to 2D Zeldas.

This can all be done in plotscripting, although making a full-featured zeldalike would require some pretty advanced scripting.

Are you sure you wouldn't like using a game engine specifically designed for making games similar to Zelda 1? http://www.zeldaclassic.com/

Also, I am curious what Adobe news scared you off from working in AS3? I had not heard anything.

Thanks for the advice with using Zelda classic. I'm gonna do that.
So Adobe was hacked by a group called "Hacking Team" (Wow how original)
That means that Adobe account data like passwords and emails are now online where everybody sees them. Also, Adobe Flash Player is now in danger to eventually open screamers which infect you with virusses, malware, spyware etc. instead of the actual content. I think that's prety heavy and just I just wanna stay safe by just not using it at the moment. Pew.. I hipe that's over soon Zombie
