Lynda shuts the door. She is curious about the door the door Mirach spoke of, but would rather not test her luck. However, there is Gontort...
Lynda stands next to the door across from the secret door of the red room.
"Gontort, sweetie..." Lynda says, cringing on the inside. "Could I ask a favor of you? Call it my...woman's intuition, but I have a bad feeling about what's behind this door. I need a...strong, brave man like yourself to help me out. Could you please take a look and tell me what's in this room?"
Lynda isn't too pleased about the things she had to say, but her curiosity needed to be sated. Hopefully Gontort will come through with this.
Kalar moves in closer to Lynda and Gontort, ready to pull the dwarf out should things go badly, or to step in should there be a need for talking things through.

Gontort snorts. "You must think you're a lot more attractive than I do. I like my women with beards. Anyways, my man Mirach over there just told you not to go in that room." Gontort points to the room just north of the one Lynda wants to look in. "If you're so curious about these rooms, why not look in that one over there?"
"Geh!" Lynda thinks to herself, somewhat dismayed. "You cheeky little...if that's how it's gonna be then..."
"He said for me to not go in to the room. There's nothing stopping you, however." She says, trying to keep her composure. "But that's for you to decide."
She then goes over to the door Gontort pointed to, and decides to cautiously peek in.

While Lynda checks out the door she's looking into, Kalar beckons Hrulgin to follow. Before anything else, he needs to know where they are. If he can find something familiar, like bedrooms, or a dining hall, or even the library, it will give him some sort of idea what part of the castle they're in. And if he knows that, he'll be able to plan their next action more logically.
Kalar heads down the hallways and takes a look behind the door on the western wall of the hall directly north of the red room, making sure to keep his tower shield well between himself and any projectiles that might come his way.

Lynda peaks in the room she chose. The walls of this room are wood paneled. The floor is covered by a plush carpet. Sitting behind a table in the middle of the room is a matronly woman dressed like a gypsy. On the table in front of her are 10 cards, face down. The cards are arranged in two rows of five cards each. As soon as the door opens, the woman says, "Welcome, come in, come in. The cards know all. The cards see all. Make yourselves comfortable. Who'll be the first to choose a card? Pick a card, any card."
Meanwhile, Kalar opens another door. This room is obviously a library. Its walls are lined with shelves filled with books and scrolls. There is someone sitting in a leather covered chair in the center of the room reading a book. The individual is a large werewolf in hybrid form. Around his neck is a chain connected to a large silver key.

The library! Perfect!
Kalar decides to try to solve this without violence. Whoever's in charge of a library would most certainly have to be calm enough to be reasoned with.
Kalar walks in, slowly, but steadily. He approaches the werewolf and says, "Greetings, good sir. I hope I am not intruding, but this is the library, is it not? Allow me to introduce myself, I am Kalar, healer and cleric of a caravan group that was trapped here. Might I inquire as to your name, my friend?"

The lady does not respond to Lynda.
Kalar gets a harsh, "SHHHH!" from the werewolf. The werewolf slowly places a ribbon in the book he was reading and then closes it. He places it on the table and looks up at Kalar. "More adventurers then? Have you found one of the scrolls yet?"
Gontort enters the room behind Lynda and looks over the cards.

Kalar lowers his voice, "Indeed we have, good sir. And we've met a Charles Clover who is helping us to break the curse. On that note, he provided me with a list of books that he had need of. As he does not like to venture out of his room, I volunteered to retrieve them for him."
Kalar hands the werewolf the list. "Would you be able to help with these, sir?"

Lynda's hand goes straight through the card. She finds it impossible to pick the card up.
The werewolf looks over the list. "Charles? No. I do not think I will be giving you books for Charles. I would never see them again. He is a very forgetful person. How did he persuade you to run errands for him?" The werewolf looks at Kalar with a snide expression on his face.

Kalar decides that it would be best to be honest here, the werewolf seems to be rather intelligent.
"By offering that sword of his in exchange for the errand and payment, to tell the truth."
Kalar considers this a moment. "You are concerned with the books not being returned as is only right. Charles wants those books as he simply wants to research and be left alone in peace. I want to get the books to Charles, but I also want your aid. Perhaps we can come to some sort of compromise that would be beneficial to all?
"I'll be honest, and say that I am a necromancer as well. I can create for you a skeletal minion that will obey your orders. This skeleton would ferry the books back and forth, and also be under orders to immediately return books after a period of one week.
"This would satisfy your desire to have books returned, Charles' desire to get books, and my desire to receive Charles' aid while finding a solution that works for everyone."
