Seeing the eyes, Kalar takes a deep breath, and screams at the closest one.

A ray of sound bursts forth from Kalar directly at the eyes of the spider on the other side of the door. The spider hisses in pain. Then the door crumbles, and a spider rushes forward only to be impaled on Ardon's halberd.
Inside the room, a scorched spider with a missing leg lays shriveled on it's back and another spider lays motionless with a hole in it's head where it's eyes should be.
The webs in the room have mostly burned away but many still remain.

Silas looks appraisingly at the mess and confusion. He then turns to Galse, and says conversationally;
"That third door isn't going to be any better."
When he is confident that the others have really finished off the spiders, Silas will move into the web room and look around carefully to see if he can spot anything interesting that nobody else has noticed yet. If he sees anything dangerous he will mention it to the others. If he learns anything else, he will keep the information to himself, because, well, Secrets!
You know what the mouths of Vecna say about secrets, right? That is right! You DON'T know, because the mouths of Vecna keep quiet about secrets!
Silas will repeat this whenever moving into a new room. He will look and listen carefully to try and learn anything interesting or useful, but he will only immediately mention the dangerous stuff to the others.

Silas looks around the webbed room. Everything inside is very sticky and he gets stuck on the floor several times while searching. Inside the room he notices:
(Silas Search Check)
There is furniture underneath some of the webbing. You can make out a bed, a dresser, and a large box.

Kalar, finally recovered from his fear of the spiders now that they're dead, regains his original composure and restraint. He picks up the caltrops he'd scattered, and replaces them in his pack for use again later.
Not wanting to have anything whatsoever to do with the spiderwebs, no matter how dead the spiders may be, he leaves Silas to do whatever he wants in the room.
He walks over to the third door, opens it a crack, and peers in (hoping to hell for no more spiders).

Silas decides that the chest can't possibly contain anything sufficiently valuable or special to justify the risk of opening it himself, so he points it out to Arden.
"That was some fine fighting, boy. Here, there is a treasure chest under these webs. Collect your reward."
Silas gestures towards the box.

With no sign of spiders, and perhaps acting a bit more rashly than he would if he hadn't just encountered three giant spiders, Kalar heads on in to rummage.
He takes as many of the linens and towels as he can, tearing them up to use as bandages. He takes the soap as well, always important to keep wounds free of infection. The candles, he pockets to give to Arden later on for his candelabras.
He looks around and searches for anything else, mundane or otherwise, that might potentially be of use.

Silas gestured Ardan to a box, within the webbed room. It could be trapped, it could not be. But either way, Silas is offering the box, and there could be stuff to collect in it.
"Might as well not leave any stone unturned!" Ardan says somewhat optimistically.
Ardan carefully begins to open the webbed box.
