"Thank you but I'm fine," said the silver dragon seeming a bit embarrassed by his clumsiness. "I will go open the next door. Follow behind me."
To Lynda, Azedarac replied, "If the shark bites didn't get her, the lava surely will." Then he flew off after the dragon, staying a good distance behind. The tall inquisitor followed after him.
"He will likely have the door opened shortly. Join hands with me and I will take us into the next room," Dan stated.
In no time at all, Kalar and his minions, Rob and Stumpy, Lynda and Wren, Harvey and the Beholder, and Dan joined Azedarac and the tall man, and the silver dragon in the next room.
This room had mushrooms and purple gems scattered around the edges. The middle of the room was dirt, like the cave room. In the very middle of the room, floating in a cross-legged sitting position, was a very strong looking stone giant. He smoked on a long pipe and then blew a large cloud of smoke into the room.
"As I told the dragon," spoke the stone giant. "The lord of the seventh level of hell's avatar is very busy. I can't let you through that door if you're just going to start trouble."

Harvey doesn't bother rematerializing, choosing to swirl about in the clouds of aromatic pipe smoke. Tastes better that way. Must be the good stuff too.. I'd swear they just said they were gonna parley with an Avatar of the Seventh Hell. He keeps to himself and his thoughts.
Kalar looks at the giant, looking for any weaknesses. He also tries to determine if the giant is a direct servant of the Lord of the Seventh.
Does Kalar see with his goggles that the giant is an outsider? If so, he will attempt to telepathically communicate.

The stone giant spoke his name to Rob which seemed to be the sound of two rocks rubbing together. "Oh, I wasn't aware there were any appointments. I'm not a secretary, I'm just a good friend." Then the stone giant tilted his neck a bit and said, "Oh! Jeremy! I didn't see you over there. He's been expecting you. I'm sorry, the rest of you might have some sort of appointment but you will all just have to wait."
"It's really done a number on you hasn't he..." Azedarac said and then he said what must have been the stone giant's name. "If it manages to get free of this place,it'll discard you in an instant or worse. Why don't you join us and put an end to all of this."
The stone giant replied, "When you betrayed the party and turned your spells toward us, I thought you had been possessed, but here you are again, fit as a fiddle and tossing around threats. I think I will let these other guests into the other room before you."
Kalar sees that the stone giant is not an outsider. Though likely not a direct servant, the stone giant seems to show a lot of loyalty towards the Lord of the Seventh. The stone giant also seems very confident despite being confronted by so many foes including a dragon, a beholder, and Azedarac, whom he seems to know so much about.
Harvey found the pipe smoke pleasant. It was interacting with his current state in an odd way. He began to feel a bit intoxicated.
The stone giant turned towards Rob and Lynda and invited them towards the door, "Go right ahead. I will be sure no one else here interrupts you."

Azedarac whispered towards Rob and Lynda allowing only the tall man, Dan, Stumpy, and some of Kalar's minions to also hear.
"Don't go in alone. You will die. We should not even open that door till this one is somehow out of the picture. Allowing those two to join forces would be a big mistake."
Kalar looks around the room, checking for anything of interest. While he's doing that, puts up magic about himself, allowing him to detect minds and read the surface thoughts of those about him.
Should nothing of interest present itself, he will speak to the stone giant, calling on all his dark powers of persuasion:
"Greetings, sir. Allow me to introduce myself, I am Kalar Kess, healer and divine emissary of my liege. As such, we are of similar nature, as we both owe allegiance to beings greater than ourselves. Of late, I have found that there is much left to learn, and much more to discuss. Of those who I have met, few have been willing to converse in as frank and straightforward a manner as you have so displayed, and as such, I find myself intrigued. I wonder then, if the two of us might converse and discuss things alone, without any of these--"
Kalar makes a dismissive gesture towards the others. He also wills some divine power into his voice, strengthening his persuasive powers.
"Interrupting us and mewling over their petty grievances. I am sure there is much you could tell me, and likewise I am sure there is much I could tell you. I have looked through this place, and I do believe there is little opportunity for scintillating, much less intelligent, conversation. So, what say you, sir giant, will you let these people pass while we sit down for an interesting conversation?"

"I suspect it's filled his head with lies and false promises. You should be careful it doesn't do the same to you when we confront him," responded Azedarac.
Kalar was doing a good job of distracting attention away from the whispered conversation. He was even was unaware of it himself.
"Of course we can talk my little well spoken friend. I have also already said, those with an appointment may enter that room over there. Were there more in the group with the appointment then just those two fancy ones?" asked the stone giant.
While the stone giant spoke, Kalar was detecting thoughts. Without focusing on anyone, the thoughts came in like a crowded room full of murmurs. The stone giant's thoughts came as purple. It was as if he was thinking an a way that was foreign to Kalar. The purple thoughts seemed to be holding the stone giant in the air.
Kalar could also sense very odd thoughts coming from behind him. They seemed to be those of the beholder. Even though language shouldn't be an issue, it was as if the beholder was thinking in a language alien to him.
A very strong message sounded in then.
We'll have to kill Kalar after we're finished here. We can't let him escape this place in his condition.
Kalar couldn't tell where the thought had come from.

"They speak for the entire group, so yes, there were more than just the two of them. Which is why I asked if it was possible to just let this noisy group head on in while the two of us have a civilized conversation together. It has been a while since I have managed to converse with anyone of similar persuasion to myself, and I must say it is most refreshing."
Kalar mentally tries to focus on where the thought came from, as if someone means to kill him, he needs to know who it is and how to deal with it.
Note: Kalar's still technically telling the truth here, as the two do indeed speak for the group and have done so previously. He's not violating his "never lies" bit by not mentioning the appointment thing.
