I'm not sure where Harvey is, or what he sees, so I'll try to be vague..
Harvey watches the spectacle before him in shock.. Kalar taking flight, the agitation of the peasants and then.. the UTTER CHAOS that ensued!
If Kalar gets the chance, Harvey will gladly take a ride out of town. "No heroics.. if a city's own criminals won't try to protect it, why the hells should we?! Well.. I hope they had better luck than we did."
IF all of this comes to pass, Harvey won't be content to be an idle passenger. While Kalar does the flying, Harvey will keep his eyes on the ground, looking for any potential threats. "Might not be a bad time for that darkness, if you can manage it!"
With all that's going on, Kalar figures that at least some concealment will be useful. He takes his holy symbol out to cover himself in darkness before heading for Harvey to pick him up and get out of the city.

Wooden spikes tore through the ranks of the inquisition. Several of them fell dead instantly, many others were injured. "Luc le Chaudronnier has died! All hope is lost!" cried one of the inquisitors. Many of them fled. The others were stunned by what just happened, but not half as stunned as they were about to be.
The Ring of Eibon felt heavy as Rob tried to converse with the kobold. He did not reply. Lynda looked to Rob for answers as Kalar flew down after Harvey.
Crash!
The sky broke open like a glass window. Sitting there, in a hole in the sky, was a huge scarlet meteor. It's scarlet light, cast an eerie glow over the town. The kobold next to Rob and Lynda began to change yet again. It's form twisted and grew is at a terrible and rapid speed. Rob quickly teleported away. Harvey watched as the beast grew to tower over the surrounding buildings. Kalar's ball of darkness engulfed Harvey as Kalar swept him away from danger. A giant roar filled the city. Panic filled the streets. The beast was here.
Kalar joined Rob and Lynda on the hill carrying a grumpy Harvey who had been grabbed up in the darkness and carried off. They watched as the beast tore up town in the distance. Dan appeared and said, "Quickly, hand me the ring." Rob got a strong urge not to give Dan the ring.

Lynda looks at the sky, and over at the town and the beast in a daze.
"Oh..." She says flatly. "...So much for being friendly. We didn't even get to question him. Then again, I don't know whats more irritating, a rampaging beast or typical Averoigne question mentality."
"...And why did the beast have the ring in the first place? It was supposed to be with Luc, but we just witnessed him die...and this damn meteor coming right for this city...I don't understand. Nothing makes sense anymore. I don't even care to know the answers anymore, if there is any. I'm tired of asking questions...it's just a vicious cycle that never ends. Hell, this whole damn plane is just a vicious cycle that never ends."
Lynda crosses her arms and watches as the city gets destroyed.

"We're all alive? We have the ring? Hahah! What a plan! What a team! I wish we'd been able to talk to the beast.. coulda told 'em where to find the Cult of Spyte! Serve those subterranean somethin' or others right"
Harvey's temporarily forgotten about business, enjoying the spectacle in the sky, the disaster on the ground and the occasional screams as the wind blows the right way and carries them to him. What a beautiful night to be alive.

Dan quickly casts a spell on the ring while it's still mid-air. As he catches the ring, the area changes. It was now a very dark night. The scarlet color caused by the meteor was gone, as was the meteor. The beast was gone and no one in the town was screaming.
"Now to dispel whatever enchantment Azedarac placed on this ring and I can finally break this curse," Dan said as he placed the ring on the ground and stepped back. "Mordenkainen don't fail me now!"
A small pop and a distortion of light, then nothing. "Well I guess that should do it?" said Dan questioningly.
Azedarac poofed in out of nowhere then. "No!" he screamed. "Do you even know what you're doing? Stop right now!"
"Azedarac!" Dan said with a surprised tone. "Don't interfere!"
It wasn't instant, but Lynda and Kalar would never fully forget the face of the guy who shot those black bolts at Lynda. This was the man they had met in the past who accompanied helena, the giant, dragon, and silvered bug. Why had Helena said Jeremiah was dead?
"This is foolish! Only death awaits if you summon that tomb!" Azedarac said.
Dan turned to the party, "Grab hold of me, quickly"
"I can't let you do this," said Azedarac.

"Time to go."
Kalar has Jim run to him, so that he can be whisked away with Dan as well, along with as many skeletons as possible. Those who remain behind though, he'll have them try to hold Azderec back. They will certainly be destroyed, but they might provide a few extra seconds.

Harvey is shocked out of his enjoyment of the chaos. Where'd it go?! Ahh, but an even better show starting behind. He thinks outloud to himself.. "Ehh.. I always make bad choices... but next time I see you, you're dead!" and cackles as he joins hands with the others, temporarily forgetting his list of grievances against Dan. What a plan! What a team!
Right after Rob shot a shout Azedarac's way, Kalar's gang of skeletons burst out of the bushes and swarmed Azedarac. The adventurers sneered and provoked Azedarac as they grabbed hold of Dan.
Then they were sailing through the ethereal plane. In what seemed like no time at all, they were in a large cavern full of gold. The silver dragon loomed on the other side of the cavern. It seemed to be asleep.
Dan produced the other three artifacts from a chest nearby and laid them out on the ground. Then he stepped back and seemed to be thinking.
