Excellent. Kalar stashes the jewelry and the bracers in his pack to be sold later. The sword though, he straps to his waist. Chances are, he'll never actually use it in combat, but should he ever get into a fight, it might buy him a few extra seconds if his opponent is waiting for him to draw the weapon.

He then takes his holy symbol, channeling divine power into it, and then presses it to Jehan's corpse.

"I don't know where I am. I don't know exactly who's after you right now. There is none who directly oppose Azedarc.
Everything my dagger cuts freezes, forever. None have ever survived."

Not quite the news he was expecting or hoping for.

Kalar decides that he had better inform the others of this as soon as possible. For now, he will wait on the outskirts of town, in the woods south of the town, hoping to catch sight of the others. He makes sure that Jim and his small army are well out of sight.

The party, having stayed long enough in this small town, decides to leave after a short look around town. Chaz is no where to be seen. It's likely that the party got up and left the brothel long before he awoke.

Just outside of town, Kalar is able to spot the party as they exit town. The party is like wise able to spot Kalar. It seems a few of the locals have seen odd things lurking in the bushes nearby and have called for the Marshals. The party sees the marshals exiting town behind them, but heading in a slightly different direction then one would assume if they were going after Kalar.

Out of no where, Dan appears in front of the party. "I need your help!" he stated. Some of the locals shrieked at Dan's sudden appearance. "The time warp is coming again and my chance to break this curse might be yet again slip through my fingers if we don't act quickly. I need you all to come with me to Perigon, right now."

The Marshals behind the party stop in their tracks. They whisper to each bother and then one of them runs back to town as the other stays where he is and watches the party.
Kalar meanwhile watches as Dan appears in front of the others but is too far away to hear his words.

Rob is feeling in an unusually good mood this morning. Maybe it was the good night of rest, or maybe it was the supreme plum omelette.

"Well hello to you too, old man!"

"We were just on our way to Perigon anyway, so why not?" Rob shrugs, looking to the others.

"Sounds fine by me." Lynda says. "By the way, we fought Jehan. He knifed me a couple of times, and now I'm freezing solid unless I wear the amulet. It kind of sucks. Know any way to fix it?"

Harvey shrugs and falls in with the rest of them. Better to render services and send a bill than to ask about payment and be denied. There is however, one point of contention that must be voiced: "Your chance to break the curse? I thought we were breaking the curse."

Kalar moves in closer, just enough to hear what's being said.

Rachelle scowls at the prospect of more time travel nonsense. "Could you at least explain what is going to happen if this time warp does come?"

Suddenly, another issue comes across Rachelle's mind:
"If you've had this ability to warp us to wherever we needed to go, why is it only now that you actually use it?"

"Normally I'd say not all at once, but actually it's helpful since time is a factor here. Let's see," Dan says before taking a short moment to think and just take a deep breath. "I'm not a traveling service and the direction you were traveling before seemed pointless to me, so why would I help you do that, when the time warp comes almost everything in the kingdom will revert to the way it originally was when the curse was placed, there are large exceptions of course, the adventurers, some extra-planar travelers and the things and places I and others have protected from the time warp, that said I have the power to protect 3 things from the time warp currently, you over there, silver guy, everyone sees you over there, you might as well come closer, you on the other hand," Dan turns towards Harvey now during his long string of words without pause, "you are still breaking the curse, or at least helping, in truth, all of us together may not be enough, a thought that has caused many to attempt to guard the curse rather than try to break it, On you you Lynda, being stabbed by Jehan's blade is a slow and certain death, I was personally able to help someone escape such a fate through the use of a wish, for now, please remove your amulet so I can teleport you and the others, you might slowly die but it should not take that long, and finally you, Rob, if you truly want to help you will need to be protected." Dan stops his string of words suddenly as he leans in towards Rob, "I'm not really sure what will happen with you when I do it."
"Anyways," Dan turns back to the others, "Not only is time running out, but the locals seem restless! Gather around and hold hands!"

Harvey holds his hands out, ready to go. There's no money or fun to be had here.

Kalar moves forward without saying a word, with Jim and his army following close behind him.

"Very well. Will you be able to transport my necrosis carnex at least?"

Lynda sighs.

"Of course it would have to be fatal. Just as I rid myself of this amulet I find myself dependent on it again..."

She takes the amulet off.

"Make it quick."

"Yes, bring all your undead minions over here quickly, Kalar," Dan said.
Shouts and cries could be heard as Kalar approached. Lynda could feel the frozen wounds burn as she waited for everyone to gather together.
Then, everyone joined together. "Let's go!"
In a flash, everything faded to a greyish white. It was as if the whole world had died and became a ghost. This was the ethereal plane.
"Hold tightly to your friend's hands. If you slip off it might be some time before I find you and get you out of this plane," said Dan.
With that, everyone felt a sharp tug. The world went flying past them all. A skeleton did indeed find itself having let go and sailed off behind the group as it zipped through the kingdom. It was hard to focus on anything as it passed by because of the great speed.

Harvey strains his eyes and ears, trying to get information at all from the overwhelming stimulus of planar travel.
