The graveyard shes cold and quiet. There's no one around to see Kalar disturb the graves of this small town. Dozens of graves fill the graveyard. Kalar estimates there to be at least fifty as he thinks up his next move.
Lynda found Rachelle outside of the Inn. One look inside explained Rachelle's reluctance to enter. Rachelle explained that Rob and Harvey had gone in with Chaz.
The two sex workers were going at each other like robots. Neither one of them seemed to honestly be enjoying themselves, but they made a good show he pretending. They kept an eye on Harvey as he pranced around the room in a sheet. They had been asked to do plenty of weird things, but they had also heard of things going too far and sex workers ending up murdered in the worst ways possible. As he asked his questions, the sex workers seemed to think it was a game at first and didn't directly answer. When it became clear that Harvey really wanted answers, the two slowed their thrusts and focused on Harvey.
The marshals protect this city from outsiders, they don't enforce morals. Many of them frequent this place. Your friend Chaz comes here often.
Not many others come here at all in fact. You're the newest faces we've seen in a while.
Our plum farms are very productive. Honestly, I'm sick of plums.
I can't even stand to look at them since the time one of the marshals brought a basket of plums with him to insert into us.
As for other entertainers, I wouldn't really know. Aside from a few bards playing in the taverns nothing like that really takes place here.
Having answered his questions, the two continue their thrusting.
Rob found it hard to concentrate on his reading with the moans coming from the other rooms. What was Harvey doing in there?
Kalar looks around, searching for any important looking places. Or perhaps a gravedigger's shack, or any indication of a temple or deity this place is consecrated by. He also uses the skull in his pack to search for any undead. He makes sure to not point it at himself or at Jim to avoid getting a false positive. Should he find any, he will seek them out first and bring them under his control. Should none be found, he'll look around the area for the largest tombstone, sarcophagus, or mausoleum that he can find.
Do all of the graves have tombstones? And if so, how big are they?

Harvey is satisfied with the answers and feels like he better understands this town. He's going to look at Chaz in a new light, that's for certain. Harvey swooshes his sheet around, honestly a little bored with the mechanical display. "For two professionals, I thought you'd be showin each other a better time. What's wrong?"
"Oh, sorry. See, we're siblings," said the two sex workings at the same time. As they said it, Harvey could see the resemblance. "Normally people don't pick us together, but I guess you didn't know," explained the woman.
Kalar searched the graveyard. He didn't find any undead there, but he did find an interesting shrine. It had a large statue, easily overshadowing most of the other normal sized grave markers. The plaque on the base of the statue read, "Robert Brown. He never killed a man that didn't deserve it."

Interesting.
Kalar takes out his holy symbol, focusing divine power into it. He touches the large statue and wills it into the shape of a large plow. He then fastens it to Jim before touching him with his holy symbol to increase his strength. Then he orders Jim to drag the plow across the dirt, revealing the bodies.
Spells Used:
Greater Stone Shape, stone or stone objects touched, up to 110 cubic feet.
Animalistic Power: +2 enhancement bonus to Str, Dex, and Con, though that last one is moot.

In spite of whatever foul things their newest party member was doing in the building, Rachelle was beyond ready to get some proper rest. 8 hours of sleep is a lot when you're used to getting by with 4 hours of a sleep substitute, after all.
She'll bring up The Sublime Codex of Duna, just in case she can't get herself to sleep easily, but she doubted she would really read much of it.
Dealing with whatever abominable act against all living things Kalar was inevitably getting up to tonight would have to wait until the morning.

As the night pressed on Harvey got to know more about the weird and creepy lives of the sex workers. Seems the reason behind their terrible display was mostly boredom, rather than disgust.
The noises having died down, Rob, Lynda, and Rachelle got a good deal of reading done before heading to bed.
Kalar, meanwhile, spent a good deal of time plowing up the graveyard. It took a few hours, but eventually the whole graveyard was torn up. The coffins served to keep the bodies intact despite being torn forcefully from the earth. Many of the more crudely constructed coffins had burst open, and if Kalar could smell he might just throw up from the wicked stench. Then, he began to resurrect the bodies. It was just after midnight when Kalar finished raising the dead.
The night went on. Rob, Rachelle, Harvey, eventually found rest in their rooms. It had been a long time since the party felt safe enough to sleep as defenseless as they were. This town seemed special though. The guards seemed sensible, the food was good, and the company was warm. Even Kalar felt safe in the middle of his newly formed small army. The party felt at peace.
MEANWHILE:
"What do you mean? I saw the last one die!"
"The child is still back in the forest. He stayed behind with the unicorn and dragon who had also, long ago, decided to stay there. However, it seems the child's need for food and comfort has driven the pair to begin exploring the castle anew," spoke the dragon.
"Does that even count?!" said Dan, clearly stressed by the situation. "They're going to ruin everything! I... I have to work fast!"
Dan vanished in a wave of magic and panic.
The new day rolled in like a warm blanket. Rested and renewed, the party began their new day.

Harvey fries the meat he bought the other day, grousing to the rest of the party. "Good move stayin away from the "entertainment". Not an ounce of passion or love between 'em.. not even professional courtesy! Emotionally nothing.. and between brother and sister no less! Worst showing I ever had."
He pauses to take a bite of the meat... still not crisp enough. "Lifeless repetitive penetration. Hope nobody thinks that about my business, heheh!"
"How bout you? All caught up on our reading?"

As soon as he is finished, Kalar holds up his holy symbol, focusing divine power through it. He summons a massive wall of water over the graveyard, letting the water come crashing down into the newly-turned earth to wash the soil around enough to cover the holes and plowed earth. Once that is done, he will retreat to the forest once more to await the dawn. There, he will send divine power into his holy symbol, causing it to radiate darkness once more.
Was there any loot to be found in the coffins? Like, rings on fingers, necklaces, etc...

Rachelle scrunches up her face upon hearing about what exactly Harvey was up to last night. You'd have thought that at least one side of the family would have gone into a respectable business.
After finishing up breakfast, she'll have a wander around town, in case anything is worth picking up.
Would she have heard Kalar's wall of water crashing down?

"Let's meet up in an hour and hit the road. If I really did see Kalar last night, he is probably waiting for us just outside of town."
Rob wonders what Harvey's "best showing" would be like, but decides not to ask about it in front of Lynda.
Rob goes looking for a breakfast omelette, and then he will feed Stumpy and get ready to ride out.

Harvey wonders whatever happened to Chaz as he finishes his morning meat. If he hasn't already paid for last night's show, he'll take the time to do so now. Wouldn't wanna piss off their pals, the Marshals... or was that just a lie to keep me honest? Harvey's curious, but not curious enough to dig into it.
Once he's accomplished that morning business (assuming he can do so on time) he'll sneak along behind Rob and see if anyone else is following the bard. If Rob gets out too fast, "Percy" will spend the hour tumbling off of tables for the amusement of the crowd before slipping off to join the others.

After having escaped detection of any kind due to the distance the graveyard was from the town, Kalar spent the rest of the night double checking his new army for jewelry. His first sweep was for magic items which turned up a magic bracelet. He identified it as a bracer of armor (+4). After that, 6 gold rings, a pearl necklace, silver earrings, and a masterly worked sword were all found.
As the party looked around town for a bit before leaving town, they came across the armory that Lynda had spent so much time in. Harvey managed to finish his business quickly and was sneaking behind them. There, Lynda picked up her holy symbol. It had turned out even better than she would have guessed for having been made in so little time. The man then told her that she owed him 600gp.
