The sight of the pile of gold and Galse struggling with the caldron finally breaks through Tammytharn's shell of silence.
"I have a bag of holding inside my pack." She says. "I can carry anything heavy that will fit through the mouth of it."
She takes the 400 gold out of her own pockets, and moves it into her bag of holding.
"How much would you guess Rachelle's statue weighs? The bag can hold up to 250 pounds, but I don't want to risk over-filling it, or it will be ruined.

Galse will try one key at a time, saving the clover-covered one for last, and hoping that something will happen to let him know if he's doing this right or wrong before it comes to trying that one. If nothing happens, he'll try to gently pull back the clover and put the key in.
As Galse turns the third key, The gate before them vanishes to reveal a swirly silver portal. What could be through this portal is unknown as all that can be seen is a swirly liquid like doorway.
Galse attempts to toss in an object tied to a rope but the whole rope is yanked through the portal at an incredible speed and Galse is smart enough to let go as it does.

Kalar looks at the portal, trying to get a whiff of what might possibly be on the other side. He's still coming to terms with these new abilities, and figures now might be as good a times as any to try them out.

With some discomfort Galse looks at the lasts of the keys "I'm not sure what this is for. I'm not sure what the last keyhole is for." He thinks very carefully on what they've seen and read. "No way of knowing what's beyond. No way of knowing whether or not it's safe. I guess... that rope had to go somewhere. And I guess we oughta get it back." He takes the last key off and tosses it into a random corner of the room. Maybe it'll be of help to the next guy. He nods in assent to the others, takes a deep breath, and steps into the swirling vortex.
The party entered the portal, getting the statue of Rachelle, the sleeping Thistlewhistle, and the mysterious skeleton through with them. They arrived in a clearing on the side of a road. Down the road a ways they can see what seems to be a lone Inn on the side of the road.
The area seems to be a lite forested area. The road seems fairly well traveled, with signs just down the road and what looks like people on horseback traveling in the very far distance. The sky is clear and the sun is shining. A mist runs along the rim of the sky in all directions. The tree line prevents the party from seeing much more than that.
It would seem the adventurers have finally found their way out of Castle Amber. But they weren't home yet.

Kalar looks around. Good thing it's not night, and not a full moon.
"I believe it is safe for now, you can untie me. But come nightfall, we'll have to tie me up again, as we're not sure what time of the month it is."
While waiting, Kalar will use his sniff around, trying to ascertain if there are any other people or creatures around.
