How do I edit layers of the map? I'm using a macbook and have no Page Up/Page Down buttons...

Thanks.

EDIT:

Found the answer. Fn + up/down arrow

To switch between which map layer you want to edit you hold "fn + up" or "fn + down" It's weird I know... took me like 20 minutes of trial and error to figure that out one day. Also helped me find some of the other Mac keyboard combinations.

Wow, that's a lot simpler than my solution. I just found an old full length mac keyboard from about 8 years ago and plugged it into the usb port. Now I have a keyboard, but I seriously only use it for the page up, page down, and delete keys. I really feel like an idiot now.

Haha. Well as far as I know there's no documentation for the key layout on Mac so don't feel bad.

As documented on the help page for the tilemap editor, you can also use Ctrl+comma (<) and Ctrl+period (>) instead of pagedown/up if you have a laptop without pageup/down keys (which is pretty common)

Oh it's good you said that. I made a mistake, the key combinations are in fact "fn+comma" and "fn+period" on my keyboard. I suppose ctrl works for non-mac laptops but for some reason on mac it's fn instead. I may refer to that now though, I figure as long as I replace ctrl with fn then everything should work properly on my laptop.

Are you sure about that? I see lots of webpages saying that the page up/down keys are fn+up and fn+down on Macbooks, and none stating fn+comma and fn+period. Ctrl+comma and Ctrl+period keys are defined by Custom, not by the operating system.

Nevermind my original answer was right. I should have just checked before I spoke up.
