It's been about a week since I got the latest one, and I was thinking of upgrading. I figure it's mainly working out bugs (though I have seen none), etc., but I was wondering if I install it into the same folder I currently use if all my files would remain there. Would it reset the whole folder and delete any games/graphics that were previously there?

I don't know about the auto-installer versions since I don't ever use those (I just go with the plain ZIP files), but it shouldn't erase all your old stuff. It should only overwrite the old OHR files (Custom.exe, Game.exe, all the other default stuff) with their new nightly version equivalents, leaving everything else in the folder exactly as it is.

To upgrade you can just overwrite custom.exe, game.exe, etc. To backup your game just copy your .rpg file (and any scripts or other files you've created) elsewhere. Note that there's absolutely no need to keep the .rpg file in the same folder as custom.exe (although it's created there by default).
