You know how the text prints out letter-by-letter in the textboxes... well I was wondering if there's any way to slow this effect down?
Currently I have a lot of single line text boxes and the current rate at which the effect happens is so fast. I feel like in other games this effect is slower, so is this something that's easy to change?
I feel like it should be in the bitset but I don't see it...

It actually only goes line-by-line, not letter-by-letter.
There is not an option for changing this right now, although I agree it would be nice to have more options. This is something I hope to do when we revamp the textbox format. Eventually we should be able to adjust the speed line-by-line, letter-by-letter, or word-by-word, override those settingf for specific textboxes, and also have a special hidden character or code you can insert into the text for an additional pause at a specific place.
It is possible to script this effect right now, if you don't want to wait.... in fact, I think somebody posted a demo script for doing this a while back, but I can't remember who it was.

Ahh, this must be what I was seeing in some other games. I'm not too concerned at this point in time. I'll wait for this feature to make it's way to the engine since I expect my game development to take a long time anyways. I just thought if it was an easy adjustment that I'd want to know how to do it.
Thanks.
