Agreed. I thought the same thing when I looked at it. Maybe a window border similar to that used around the textboxes would also work.

World 2 is complete! Along with the extra content (four times as much game as before!), there are some new features:

  • Your progress and best times for each world are automatically saved.
  • You can now restart your current level from the main menu.
  • Movement is 50% faster.
  • There's a title screen!


Give it a try! World 3 will be available once I expand the scripting engine.

Hey. I just played through the second level and noticed something that you may or may not have intended to happen. I'll put it as a spoiler just in case it was intended:

When I got the airship, I was able to land the airship on top of the boss. This made it so I didnt have to face the boss in order to get the crystal. Wasn't sure if you meant for this as a time saver...

Also I like the battle boarder. That looks a lot nicer. It's a good game.

Choosing stages after winning seems to be bugged, as in, it don't work.
edit: works again once I refresh
edit's revenge: I like the dimming of the world whilst in battle, it's easy to determine the world from battle screen now.

If I had to critique something, it would be the sheer number of battles in the candy world. I mean, I can see it being a thing where you're supposed to learn a new spell or two per battle to learn how to use the mage better....but you aught to spread the foes on a few more islands rather than cluster them on one tiny candy chunk. I advise keeping a decent amount on that first island, maybe around half, and then have a couple more islands or another decent sized island with the rest. Perhaps leave just enough foes where you can't get a multitarget spell from the levels on the first island so they can't just zip straight to finish, but have to go fight at least one more battle to get it.

Work on this has been a bit backburnered lately, but I buckled down and did what needed to be done. As a result, please enjoy world 3, featuring probably the most popular of the original heroes.

Leyath, our new hero, will be introduced in either world 4 or 5, which will be original content not present in the OHR version.
