Specifically for RPG-games? There are a few, but I am not aware of any with export to Android or iOS
The OHRRPGCE does have experimental Android support, and there are a few OHRRPGCE games in the Google Play store, and a few on OUYA
If you mean general game engines that are not specific to RPGs, there are a bunch of options.
I haven't worked with it myself, but I keep hearing positive things about Unity, and it has recently become free for indie developers

I believe there's Stencyl and Game Maker: Studio. Though, the only one I have extended experience with is RPG Maker VX Ace, which is pretty versatile, though I'm not sure it's android/ios compatible.

The current development version is available as nightly WIP builds
We are still a good ways off from the next stable update, but it expect it to happen this year.
Android support works, but right now it requires compiling from source code, which is somewhat difficult to do. If someone has a game that is ready to release on Android, I can help them package it.

Thread about it here:

It's not necessary to package a game into a self-contained app to play it on Android; you only need to do that if you want to distribute it. To play .rpg files, instead use this (few weeks old):
http://hamsterrepublic.com/tmp/ohrrpgce-game-android-debug.apk
It's been a year since the last release, so I don't want to drag it out all that much longer.

The heck is this thread?
why do we always respond to these types of threads.

Hey people of a community that revolves around the ohrrpgce, help me find a engine that isn't the ohr. I'm to lazy and dumb to search for myself. I don't even know that the OHR has the main thing I'm looking for. All of my games are likely to suck.

Wow. That's a bit excessively nasty there.
Sounds like he didn't know that the OHR was working on Android support and was looking for a similar program that did have that kind of feature already built in. Considering that it's an in-progress nightly feature (in other words, not even in the version that people are most likely to download) that probably hasn't been publicly mentioned in very many places yet, not knowing that the OHRRPGCE can do that already is understandable (especially for someone with only 4 posts, who probably hasn't been actively reading through the forums for ages or digging through every single thread looking for some sign of OHR Android support already being a thing before asking about it here.)
Maybe a little on the lazy side, yeah, but hardly the kind of question that deserves a "durr, me am rephrase post in words that make it sound 50x worse, baseless assumption lololol" reply.

Spoon has done quite a few of these posts today. Not sure what the deal is with that.

I had all my wisdom teeth out this morning and i'm pretty doped up. I'd apologize for my posts but I just took another hydrocodon and it might be the meds talking but everything I posted still seems pretty valid.
I'll be sure to reread this tomorrow and decide if I should apologize or talk about how you suck as well Fmurfette.

I was under the impression this forum was for game making in general, not just the OHR.
Thanks man. I haven't even mad the game yet, I'm gonna start tonight. I used to mess with OHR all the time when I first got it about 10-12 years ago, but I slacked off.
What?

Spoonweaver's comment was out of line. Your original question was perfectly reasonable, and we are happy to welcome users of other engines.
Your escalation was even more out of line. Lets try to turn this discussion civil again!

Alright, sorry. So when it's compiled for Android, do you have to use another app to open it? Like game.exe for android? Also, is it possible to insert an ad or two to earn some revenue?
There are two ways to run your game on Android. One is to sideload your rpg file and open it with this: http://hamsterrepublic.com/ohrrpgce/nightly/ohrrpgce-game-android-debug.apk
That method is best for testing.
The other method is to compile a standalone version. Here are a couple examples:

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.superwalrusland.ckane

Compiling an standalone Android OHRRPGCE game requires a linux computer, the Android SDK, the OHRRPGCE source code, and various support tools. I can help you with this stage when you are ready, you don't need to do it yourself. This article describes what files I need from you so I can compile an apk for you: http://rpg.hamsterrepublic.com/ohrrpgce/Things_James_Needs_To_Package_Your_OHRRPGCE_game_For_Android_For_You
As for monetization, there are a couple options.
You can just set a price in the Google Play store. That is definitely the easiest.
You can sort of do ads, but you can't do them nicely. Making an ad in-game is not hard, but there is no way to click on it and send the user to a web page.
Finally there is some experimental in-app purchase support. I have it working smoothly for the OUYA store, but I have only just barely started trying to make it work with Google Play.
