I have just completed a playable version of my drawing program Stampo! and would like to upload my game along with its code to the Gamelist. This will only be version 1.0 of the game, there is still much to improve. I feel by uploading it and allowing others to see my code in full, I will be able to get more applicable advise and help fixing and furthering the games code.
Please let me know how I can do this. Also I'd like to know what file type would be best to upload. I'm thinking just a .rpg may be best at this point but I can distribute the game to specific systems if that's what people prefer.

Just go into the Game List forum and add a new topic. You will see a box at the bottom fro adding attachments, where you can attach the game and the screenshots.
I think the preferred format to upload is definitely a zip file containing your RPG file and a renamed copy of game.exe. You can export such a zip file directly from the "Distribute Game" menu.
I guess the Mac distribute is probably worth doing too.
I do the linux one for my own games sometimes, but so far I have seen zero evidence that anybody ever actually uses them :)

Thanks, I should have had it up by now but felt really sick the past bit. I'll clean it up and try and get it on tonight or tomorrow morning since I may not have internet later. We'll see.

Yeah updating didn't work for me either. When I updated my game file I instead had to remove it and reupload which was a bit annoying.

I've never seen this happen. The next time it does, can you post the URL of the page on which you see the error message?

I removed my game to re-upload it, but still get the message, so now I have no game up.

Hmm... that wasn't as informative as I'd hoped. Can you send me a PM with the source code of the page that you're on before that?
Also, what browser are you using?
