Scare Spree is online for free on PC through SlimeSalad and for sale on the google app store

Everyone on the project worked very hard and I think this game rivals the quality, if not surpasses, what I did in Batman & Robin, which I think was my last released game.

We completely revamped the system, made it cleaner and redid ALL graphics. There is no art in this game from the 2006 or 2008 version at all. There are now 12 costumes, the previous version had just one, and an unlocking system for the three stages to obtain them. Soda_piggy has outdone himself again with the soundtrack for this game, and The Wobbler brought back his voice acting from Monster Lot's vampire role to be the announcer!

Post screenshots of your highest scores, the winning ones will make it into the Scare Spree album on facebook.com/redtrianglegames. It's kind of the best we can do right now for a leaderboard!

Like I said, everyone worked super hard on this project and I feel proud to share it with the ohr community. Happy Halloween homies!

This game is fun, though the methods of unlocking some costumes seems rather unforgiving. Maybe I just suck.

All you gotta do is figure out the best way to never lose your combo gauge, since that is vital to getting big scores. Once you figure out that for yourself you can unlock everything in no time.[/img]

So far the highest score I have reached was about 5100 on the neighborhood level. Those top-tier costumes seem so far away... but two days ago my best score was 2600, and 5000 felt far away, so I haven't given up hope yet.

One strategy that seems to help is if you are going down a hallway scaring kids as you go, and you meet 2 or more together, sometimes it pays to leave one of them unscared so they will still be there to scare later and keep your combo alive later after you reach the end of the hall and turn around and sprint back.

Haha! Everyone plays the game differently for sure! I think creative thinking is pretty key when you have to move quick!

As a "person" who scares people for a living, I art ashamed that I fail so spectacularly at a scaring game.

Best I've been able to do, at the school, I think, with the ghost. Would've done better but accidentally triggered "Hide" mode by holding down Z too long. Is there a reason "Hide" isn't X? Holding down Z or X would be just as good of a way to trigger Supers, and having a seperate button for hide would help avoid mishaps.

Really impressed at the polish so far, especially with regards to voice acting and menus, but kinda disappointed that the costumes seem to be solely aesthetic and that all the levels are unlocked at the start.

This is basically the "to-do list" for next year.

I shared this video up on Red Triangle Games (www.redtrianglegames.com). But hope this helps anyone get creative with trying to find how to get even higher scores. I'll try to make more with the other levels.

That reminds me, what are the clocks that randomly pop off of folk?
And how do you get them to clock, or rather prevent them, if it's bad.

There were some things I wanted to inform the player of, like how Mr. Triangle is worth 100 points, or that sometimes pedestrians drop clocks that add 3 seconds to your timer. That's how my video lasted over 2 minutes. I figured with their timer being updated they'd figure it out, but enough people have said "how do I get more clocks" so it'll be on the list of more things to explain next year.
