Promoting your game!

I help moderate a video games forum, which could be a decent place to advertise to interested gamers. The only problem is that it's looked down on when a person joins the forum to plug their own product and then never posts again (in fact, I think there's a post count threshold before you can create a new thread for that very reason).

If you think you'd be interested in joining the community, even if only as a semi-active member, then by all means we'd love to have you. If you'd rather not, then it might be best to PM about it. Maybe I can start an OHRRPCCE expo thread and showcase peoples' games there.

An ohrrpgce expo thread sounds interesting.

I figured at the very least each entry could include a short description of the game being exhibited, some screenshots and then a link to the download page. Maybe more if the creator so desires.

Hell, if anyone wants to PM me what they'd like shown I can go ahead and get it set up on VGF.

FYI Yoyogames sandbox is an abandoned website. Gamejolt is another alternative.
If you want money from your games indie-city is a good place to put your indie games.
