Does anyone have a copy of this game? The Castle Paradox file is not the right one. Much appreciated.

Maybe Pepsi Ranger still has the games he said he had four years ago?
Maybe. I should have kept all those games but I'm an idiot and deleted everything when I "quit" using the OHRRPGCE.

I was actually thinking of this game just a few days ago, so I was like whoa when I noticed a topic about it. I deleted my copy ages ago because I like to just delete everything I feel I won't need anymore.
I did a search around but found nothing. Still remember the game's battle themes though, ha.

Why would you quit?

I've "quit" about a half a dozen times since I found the OHRRPGCE back in late 1999 / early 2000. It never made any sense but I still did it
I hope PR and/or someone finds a copy of this game! Would love to play it again.

I checked my own collection, but was unable to locate Paladus
So this copy: http://www.castleparadox.com/gamelist-display.php?game=112 is not the right file? There was newer version somewhere?

It appears that the CP file is an executable that has nothing to do with OHRRPGCE games. The description on the game also says:
I'm assuming that someone changed the file at some point?

It doesn't even seem like an executable, opening the thing in a text editor looks like HTML. What the hell could've happened to this thing?
Looks like a file-not-found error page from the now-defunct xoompages web host. I think it means that someone attempted to download the game from a broken link and saved it as paladus.exe, then without checking to see if the download was actually valid. Then they zipped it up and uploaded it to castleparadox.
It was easier to make that mistake in older web browsers. I know I did it in Lynx by accident all the time.

Yeah, I never throw anything away. I've got all those games still. I'll send it to you, Meatballsub (I'll try to PM it, but you may need to send me your email again just in case).
Should I just send all of these to Mogri for a backyard storage kind of thing? I don't think it would be right to post them on Slime Salad officially without author consent, but I do think we should have an official archive of "lost games" just so they don't get any more lost. Perhaps they could be made available upon request? I don't know.

If you wouldn't mind PMing it to me as well, I'd appreciate it. I'll PM my e-mail just in case.
I played this for about an hour and I'm extremely confused. I'm not sure whether the game has rendered itself unplayable due to being so old, or I'm just an idiot. I'd be curious to know if anyone gets past the point where the "voice on the phone" tells you to goto the strip club.
I go there but nothing happens. I'm hoping it is just something I overlooked as I'd really like to continue playing this game if possible.

Interesting. I wonder if an older version of Game.exe would run it any different? Maybe it's bugging out when it updates to the latest version of game?
