It's been a while since I'd posted anything too big here. But right now, I'm posting here to set up more of my story ideas for my Doom RPG project; which, by the way, is still being worked on. Finally getting around to making some good-quality sprites for it.
I've been tinkering around here and there with stuff on it, completely revising the script / dialogue, etc.
As far as the story, I've finally got the details shelled out with its progression.

Episode One:
-Of course, you're stationed on the desert-moon Tei Tenga after slugging a superior officer. Some months ago, this moon was used for the mining of a super-powered mineral called the "Fire Dust", which was to power the United Aerospace Corporations' many vehicles and factories, in place of fossil fuels and nuclear tech.
During all that mining, people uncover what are said to be two equidistant gateways on the surface of the moon, completely sealed, and bears strange markings. These gateways are located on each end of the moon's surface, at their poles, and are said to hide secrets of a forgotten, highly-technological race.
Months proceed afterwards, and the UAC tries now to open these said gateways, to 'seek out contact with another race'. Possibly, to inherit technologies from the creators of the gateways.
What they made was a mistake.
Upon opening the gateways, now labelled "The Anomalies", deadly creatures spew from them by the hundreds, killing anyone in sight. The backup crew never managed to seal the anomaly entrances, and they stay open, allowing the creatures to roam the surface.
Where the player and his team come in, they set out in search of a way off the moon immediately, seeking out their Dropship, "Darkstar". (A-La Doom 3)
They find that the dropship has its course set directly for the Darkside Hangar, on the complete other side of the planet. When they get there, the Alpha Team only has limited time in their safe haven, before the facility is overrun by the approaching demon hordes from the Darkside Anomaly.
You are once again separated from your team, but only for a short time. You meet up with your other 3 squadmates in the later section of the Darkside Crater, and take a route directly for one of the last refuges on Darkside: Tei Tenga Colony 2.
Once there, you find that this part of the planet has not yet been overrun by the demons, as their defenses are far superior to those of the Crater's (somehow).
Your next mission lies in the task of reconnecting the communication lines to any outside parties, to seek help to exterminate the newfound infestation of the planet. Unfortunately, all power from the communication terminals on Tei Tenga have been re-routed to the Anomalies.
After some time, your team loads up and heads for the nearest Anomaly Division, at Darkside's pole. There are a few standing facilities that power some defenses of the area (but were obviously converted into use for the invaders.) that your team takes down, and so you enter the final area of the first episode, Darkside Anomaly.
By this time, Buddy Dacote, who was found to be alive earlier in the game, has dropped various hints as to what the Anomalies are, and what the creatures' intent was. He also begs you not to come closer to the Anomaly Gateway, which you ignore the plea and press on.
When your team reaches the research area of the Anomaly, two monolithic creatures stand before Dacote, and your team watches in horror as they tear him apart, right before your eyes, right before he expels the truth about the facilities.
When your team successfully subdues the twin creatures, portals open for a moment, and take your team inside. Your team believes this to be a mirage, and fight through it.
Your team arrives back inside the research area, but with a new sensation occuring: The walls of the facility are crumbling down. Enough to see that your team can reach the Anomaly Gateway on foot.
At the end of it all, your team approaches the gaping maw of the gateway, and step through it, hoping to put whatever lies beyond to rest.
However, the gateway closes behind the team, leaving them sealed away in an 'unknown' world.
Elsewhere, communication lines are restores throughout the planet. Creatures still tread the blood-filled hallways of Tei Tenga's many destroyed facilities.
And somewhere, the question comes to mind if it really was a good idea to call the cavalry...
