When creating tiles in the tile editor, I sort of find it a tad annoying when making texture type tiles, you know the ones that are suppose to be loopable...
Currently there is no easy way to say press ~ or something and see our tile come alive in a quick preview window to confirm that we're making it loopable. Instead, what I find myself doing is going back and forth into the map editor to confirm if it looks right... This is time consuming.
I know live testing has just been implemented, but when your just starting from scratch, there's nothing to test but tiles at first. Some editors I've seen do a 4x4 grid when editing the tile... Better yet, there should be an option to use the right side of the tile editor for either seeing your undo history(which personally I never look at), or a 4x4 grid of the tile to confirm it looks great in a texture.
Edit: It would also be just as nice if this new 4x4 preview can be swapped to display the other tiles nearby on the tileset. This would make creating large objects like trees much easier, as you can see how it would look as your building it.
twould be a good idea to just compile them.

heh, are my requests really that excessive? I'm sorry... My head is just exploding with ideas and I don't know what to do with them all.

Not to harp on you or anything Chronoboy, but maybe you should just make 1 thread titled, "Chronoboy Engine Requests"

You've made nine threads in two days. A general Q&A thread would be more appropriate than a new thread for every question.
