Hamster Burrow high score challenge #1!

Meowskivich at some point suggested a high score challenge, and I thought that was a brilliant idea. So here it is, the first high score challenge! This challenge will be for TheSuperAmazingBlueBallGame by foreverblue2.

There will be a prize for the top scorer, but please post your high scores in the comments for the post above! I want to keep it all in one place.

I'm thinking of holding these monthly or so until we run out of games that have scoring mechanics...any suggestions for the next game that I can do this for?

EDIT: Here's the rules, for posterity:

1. This will be for the All Out mode, so high scores in any other modes will not be accepted.
2. One entry per...entrant. Submit your best score the first time. NEvermind this, it was a bit silly

Please submit your score in a comment on the blog post. Please tell me the score and include a link to a screenshot. You can take a screenshot by hitting F12 in game. If you need a place to upload it, try Tiny Pic or some other free uploading service. No screenshot, no prize.

The contest will run for a week from today, so it ends March 22nd, 23:59 PST.

Speaking of which, the prize will be a fancy pin/button saying that you won a Hamster Burrow High Score challenge! I will only be sending these to winners of these challenges, so it's pretty special.

Merciful Mungbeans! Oh wait, I'm still not done. :p

edit: wait a tick, are we doing it for all-out mode, starburst mode, or box mode?
I'm assuming not freeze mode as that seems to lock your game for unknown reasons.

edit: if it's all-out, I just broke my record by a few points, and it's 126. I suppose I'll post that on the HB.

Am I crazy? There is no freeze mode on the screen now, but there IS a box mode. @_@
by the way, box mode is cool too.

so yeah, my box mode high is 33 if that's a thing

once more edit: just read the rules, guess my manly score of 33 doesn't count. I shall also screenshot my score in a moment!

Freeze mode is a gag.

You don't need a blogging account, blogspot accepts OpenID and Google too, which probably covers 95% of everyone.

This is a bad rule! I've run lots of scoring competitions for various games, and here's the best way way to do it in my opinion.

Give everyone a deadline (2 weeks is good) and let them submit new scores as many times as they want. This will keep things competitive and make people stay interested in the contest.

Please change this rule.

I agree, I already complained on HB.

Sadly TheCube has me beat by just 2 points! I shall have to try to top that.

Changed it! I was mostly thinking about keeping things easy for myself, but it does definitely make it more competitive for everyone and isn't a big deal for me, so I changed it on here and the Burrow.

I should change the screenshot too, because that is not my high score; it's the default screenshot for the game. Mine is way lower. Plus I don't think I'll enter, as getting mail from myself is a bit of a downer.

It's kind of a bummer seeing that 256 score... I got 162 and yet somehow I feel like I suck at the game now.
