Merciful Mungbeans tidbit - Submit your puzzle ideas

I'm having troubles with thinking up some good puzzles in the tower area of my game, Merciful Mungbeans. Keep in mind that the rooms are generally rounded, and you progress via stairs.

Now, in earlier parts of the game, you're already introduced to some puzzles like pushing blocks, timing going through some corridors, automated movement tiles, and even a couple of mazes.

Now, I'm needing ideas for some decent puzzles that will hopefully lack an extreme amount of plotscripting.

Any ideas?

You can combine elements from any of the puzzles you've already made. You can have buttons that open or close doors within the puzzle. Or you can have blocks that also move on the automated movement tiles.

puzzling as puzzle can puzzle, I guess.

And those are good idea, sephy. The door switch thing reminded me of something I was going to add to another game, and now I'm like "why didn't I think of that?!"Thank ye.

You could always quiz players on common things like math, foreign languages, or science.

You could give the Dr. Brain games or perhaps 7th Guest a go for inspiration. But the puzzles in those game might not be quite what you're looking for, and I'm guessing that they would require some really heavy scripting.

How about make the player search for something to remove an obstacle blocking the way? Maybe more than one item wich need to be combined to remove the obstacle.
I haven't played you game so I don't know if this idea is helpfull.

nobody really has played the game aside me yet. and sorry to say, this wouldn't really work in the game, it's a little hard for me to explain right now.
