I was going to save this until I completely finished it, but I still have a few more days of work to finish and then WOYG Weekend would already be over...

This is Apec, formerly known as "Jersey" in Attack Fish: The Omega. This is the first real town that the heroes come to that is not completely destroyed. The graphics have been completely revamped, both outside...

It will feature all of the original side quests as well as some new ones. One of them is actually a pretty big quest (still optional) that involves an enemy the heroes have faced once before.

I still have a ton to do for it to be 100% complete, but I'm making decent progress. I'm in the process of re-doing the Ghoul enemy sprite, which is part of a quest chain in Apec/Jersey. I'm really not happy with it at this point, so I'm going to keep tweaking it until I'm satisfied.

Looks more like a rotting man than a ghoul.
I sorta like the older one, kinda creepier, and slightly more ghoulish.

I suppose it could also be considered a melting man.

And "work on yo game weekend" is a monthly event, so you don't have to worry too much.

I actually like the second one as a ghoul more, but I agree with Meow that the first one is creepier. But the first one doesn't look quite ghoulish to me, more like a plague-carrier who has his flesh melting off his bones.

As for the church, I kinda liked the older stained glass windows better.

The way you've got light filtering in from the windows in the house is pretty neat.

It's James' script actually, so if you're using walk tall, then you're already using the same script that I'm using. You need to call the script again if you change the sprites.

You called the script to enlarge the sprites, that gives you the big walkabouts. After changing one of the sprites, call the script again to change that sprite as well.

Just finished a house graphic.

I'm not so sure about the roof though.

Thank you for your input!
I redid the water/shore, what do you think?

The water part looks a lot better, but the sandy coast area is much too saw-tooth ragged. Regular edges like that make it seem not very coastliney. I'd suggest doing what you did for the water to the sand.

Still, big improvement. And I agree with Spoon, the house looks great.
