Not quite the weekend just yet, but I've been working on Okédoké a lot lately (and that will probably continue into the weekend, since I have very little homework to do), so I figured I'd post a couple of recent screenshots here.

It's close enough to Saturday in England, so yeah. Plus, I count Friday as weekend.

I plan on working on my game based on my RP world that my friends and I created a few years ago.

Been wanting to do this project for a long time, but I wasn't skilled enough in graphics OR plot-scripting to get the job done.
(Still not great at either one really, but now I actually have enough confidence to do it!)

I call it: "Melituri madness"!

P.S.: Trying to convert Sonic fan characters into 20x20 16 bit sprites is HARD!!! Especially when said character designs don't really allow for it. Had to omit a few things. XP

I mean, THIS is what Orion REALLY looks like! XD

It's leagues above Rogue's Revenge, so it's cool. Smile
Besides, you're skills aren't terrible! And the more you draw, the better you get! Grin

Well this looks like as good a place to jump in as any.

Hello again OHR community. It's been about eight years. The OHR RPG CE has come a long way in the interim. Kudos to Bob for all the spiffy new features, like mp3 support (which, IIRC, you said at one point would likely nerver happen), text box portraits, sound effects, and the slice system (which I still find cryptic but appears powerful). After playing Vikings of Midgard and Motrya I can't wait to get my hands dirty again.

I've got a script in the works for a Victorian Occult / Post-Apocalyptic setting RPG, and this weekend I intend to get some concept art and/or character portraits drawn, so brace for shitty artwork on Monday.

Welcome back, Khamael!

(I am always happy when my prognostications of impossibility turn out to be false!)

Looks like things are shaping up for a productive work-on-your-game-weekend! :)

Well, that's a pretty weird walkabout graphic there. Wonder who it is... or how he ends up with glowing white eyes and two weird pairs of wings?

They seem to be, yeah! I got an outdoor map done on Melituri Madness. Grin

Also have been toying around with a silly game that I made just a few days ago on join.me with some friends.

I like the battle background, it has a real sense of depth to it.

I forget who suggested this! But it was a good suggestion.

In the current version of Super Penguin Chef, the merchants will have gone home by the time you conclude your business at the restaurant. However, there's no other indication that time has passed. As seen above, that has changed. Dusk has fallen, and the cheery town music has been replaced with the sounds of owls. (Note: This might be a little too unsettling. Requires further analysis.)

Also: flowers and a new icon for the ingredient shop.

Thanks! All I did was stretch out the front of the grass with the perspective tool in Photoshop and give it light airbrush shading. Smile
