Why isn't there just a generic thread for questions people may have, a faq if you will.
Oh well, that's not why I'm here.

I'd like to know, is there a way to extend the display bar for attacks when they're performed? The bar disappears way too fast normally, so it makes things harder for me in games like AR-PUH-GUH! when I want someone to read the text "aim was lowered..." when it literally blinks on the screen where if you've never read or even written it you have no hopes of comprehending it's meaning.

And a second question, is there a way to call names in attack display bars?
Because, if possible, I would like to try somethign for the turnbased rpg of having it say "Foe attacked (hero #3)!". If not, I'll try to think of something.

Yes, you can adjust the caption time. I think the attack screen has been modified recently (I've been working with my own system so I forget) but it should be near where you type in the caption.

I don't think you can have names be used in captions. It might be possible in the future but I don't know what the battle code is like. You can fake it if you REALLY need by not allowing changing hero positions and making multiple attacks with specific targets... too much work for a whole game but can be very useful for particular fights.
