Hmm... Spambots...

I keep deleting the spambot threads I run across, but in truth some of the replies to them are pretty hilarious. I'm considering making a "spam garbage pail" thread where I can just merge any spam threads I find into one single thread (instead of a dozen). All in favor?

I'm with James on this one. I'm suspicious that all this attention we've been giving the spammers is making them think "Yes! Finally, a forum that doesn't delete our threads or ban us immediately! Let's get everyone in here and capitalize on this while the grill is hot!" And as y'all know, spam is not funny in the slightest when it is actual spam that is spamming up our forums and making them unpleasant to use.

If you'd like to get a kick out of funny spam, I'm certain there's a sub-site somewhere on the Cheezburger network dedicated to it. I looked it up, there doesn't seem to be such a thing. Oh well. If the peculiar grammar and language of the spammers is your thing, take a paragraph from your [least] favorite English literature and run it through the worst online translators you can find.

AFTER:

The after block looks better than the before.
