Thanks for helping me beat him, by the way.

And by helping me beat him, I mean "letting me tag along". V

Um... yes.

I'll have to fix that.

Apologies to Fortis for sucker-punching him in the recent 4-way mega battle. Sad I am fairly certain Surlaw would have won had he not accidentally (?) bounce tackled himself. I'm also sorry my Dummefaust follow-thru didn't immediately knock me out as well. It was just not extreme enough Kamina

Also, is it just me, or does maximizing straw suck STILL give you the full HP drain with a Vengeance Sword? I fumbled and was still able to recover more HP than the damage I did. Hurr

The damage absorption is fixed for Straw Suck/Goo Gulp.

Argh, so close!

I think that if Goowain didn't critical right off the bad like that, and CUSTOM got an extra turn, then I may well have beaten him.

So, fun fact. When you have 42 base STR, reduced Sludgehammer Special is TOTALLY not worth the effort

I'm going to beat this guy without non-slimebot help. Someday. Just got to come up with a plan that's just crazy enough to work.

Maybe I should give Reduce a slight buff.

The only reason to use reduce is if you somehow got an attack you can't use normally (I'd use it for prestige shot, maybe).

If you had the choice, you would *never* choose to reduce an attack if you could us it normally.

I bet you could use reduce to defuse an opponents counter attack with less damage to yourself... but I don't see that as being useful very often. If you know what attack your opponent is countering with enough confidence to defuse it with half-damage to yourself, you are probably always better off just using some other attack.

What if reduce was a special case for counter? It could defuse a counter-attack with no damage... that would be a pretty major re-purposing of an existing metamagic, but since it needs a boost to be worthwhile anyway...

That's really unintuitive, though.

So, why did TRICKSTER recharge?

It literally wasted its final chance to attack.

Two likely reasons:
- Can't do much with 21 MP.
- Goowain already had pretty much the entire laundry list of status effects TRICKSTER could cause.

Anyway, OMEGA is the only slimebot who cares how close it is to dying.

If it's got one turn of Contract left, Omega should Dummefaust. Devil

I guess that makes sense, though. Nothing else it could've done. Hm. I'll have to adopt this into my strategy. Or something. I'll beat Goowain without piggybacking...one day.

Hypothetically speaking, if a target already had Paralyzed (1) would Trickster refuse to hit them with Super Shock a second time?
