I noticed this a while back, but forgot to mention it.
After you issue a challenge, there is a "Battle" link at the bottom of the page. If you click it, it takes you to arena-play.php with the "This battle hasn't started yet." screen, and presents you with a "Withdraw" button, even though you have not already accepted.
I think expected behavior would be to allow you to accept the challenge from there.
Yeah, I agree, that is odd. I haven't had the initiative to correct that, but perhaps I will soon.

Your Paralysis wore off. I do think it's really cool that Mogri's written various lines for the double-turn occasion (and explains why it was blank for a while).
The real question is why you would clear your foe's negative effects.

It shouldn't have been, but I'd forgotten to make the function return the message
It wasn't until I noticed a blank one that I realized what had happened.

Buff Request: Mirror Sheen
Haha, it's funny, because Mirror Sheen is a buff, but really now...
Status deflection is a really nifty idea, but having it activate at a 15% rate is a bit too low.
When fighting the Mirror Coated Omega, I don't think I noticed a single instance of having my debuffs blocked.
I might request a change in the spell in which it affects an entire party, thereby increasing its chance of deflecting a single attack.
Or to simply have its rate increased.
I don't think it'd be too bad if the rate were to be increased to 30 or 50%.
Or perhaps the effect could be changed a bit so that it guarantees a deflection, but only one per every [x] rounds?

Speaking of needing a buff, what about the Slimehold Gavel? Since the Wizard Robe nerf, I can't think of a single reason to use the Gavel.
Also, I discovered a new combo!... or rather a new variation on a known combo.
Use Delay metamagic to deliver a backstab and a backpoke simultaneously. Assassinate will then be available to you for TWO consecutive rounds. For maximum awesomeness, deliver them together using another delay
this battle
Note to self: Buy Stoneform!

Stoneform is designed specifically to combat Assassinate, but you'll need Extended Stoneform to completely prevent that combo. Nice use of Delay.
Regarding the timing of the Assassinates, you may not want to Delay the first one: that leaves it wide open to be countered by a regular Stoneform, at much less cost to the target. Then again, the combo can be prevented by activating Stoneform once you notice the first delayed attack, assuming you can correctly predict its identity. (This makes a good case for delaying most attacks that you don't need to resolve immediately.)
For that matter, maybe I should give Disguise-style MP variance to Delay and Charge to mask which attack is being prepared.
