He likes it a lot. I should make it less of a priority if he's low on HP or something because dang.

(Also, you should know that you keep forcing me to come up with new OMEGA battles. I thought that Robe of Justice might stall you for a day or two, but no.)

No way! That would make things fair. And no one wants that. I had to come up with something to keep you from railroading OMEGA. Poor guy.

I think the Double Vengeance battle would have been your stopping point if OMEGA were smarter about it.

I don't know what you have in mind, but I would love to see him become a team-battle version of OMEGA, where large groups can fight him all at once, but he grows stronger each time he is defeated.... but how to track the teams in a way that is fair and lets somebody other than the top players get in on the fun sounds... complicated.

That's not the only complicated part. There's also the matter of concurrency -- if one group beats him while another group is still fighting him etc. This is partially why OMEGA is tracked on a per-player basis, though I do like the idea of an armageddon slime that takes 7-on-1 challenges and doubles in size when beaten.

But that's an idea for another day...

Well, you could have him track separately for each team grouping. Like say Twin and James have beat him 3 times but twin and uncommon have only beat him once. He'd grow for each team separately. This could lead to more of a team feeling for the next tournament.

If I was trying to do that, I would have a separate table to track teams.

The key for the table would be the user ids of all the human players in the team sorted numerically and concatenated with commas. Then you could add data fields to that table like when the last victory was, or what level Slimebot ARMAGEDDON currently is for fighting that team.

Actually, having a team-keyed table could come in handy for other purposes, too, like if you wanted to track overall team statistics. For example, James+Mogri have won X battles, or James+Mogri have lost X battles, or James+Mogri have won X battles in a row.

It could also be a good starting point for auto-mated tourneys.
