Seventh consecutive attempt.
Gentlemen, I present to you the Strange Case of Battle 1316. It has a few buffs and a lot of recharging, but otherwise it's all bricks.

I like how Contract has introduced the concept of chicken into the game.
It's like whoever is pushed to use it first will be (just about) guaranteed to lose as long as the opponent also contracts.
However, I can see it being pretty whelming to our Low-Int friends.

I have only been throwing bricks in that battle because I am mad at everybody else for throwing bricks!
In battle 1397, Slimebot OMEGA is stuck trying to cast something that he doesn't have the INT for.

Violence breeds violence, destructive behavior breeds destructive behavior, brick-toss breeds brick-toss.
Of course, I guess I am forgetting what bricks REALLY mean.
BRICKS mean LOVE!
here is a strange one. In this turn of this battle my clone has 80 int... but in the very next round, the int drops from 80 to 10. Does that make any sense to you?
I can safely say it does in this case!
10 Int + Power Aura (20) + Meditation (50) = 80 Int
Both those effects wore off at the end of his turn.

Ah, I forgot that meditation is a flat bonus and not a percentage.
Sounds like Power Aura + Meditation + Mitosis is bad news for the clone!
You know, if you wanted to do away with this whole class of multiplicative vs additive bonus bugs, here is what I would suggest:
* Track a separate number for "current ideal stat" and "current effective stat". The current ideal stat is the value of the stat without any bonuses. The current effective stat is recalculated at the beginning of each and every turn.
* Track an order-of-application for every status effect, and always apply them in that order when recalculating the current effective stat.
"Bugs" is such a harsh word!
In actuality, a lot of this mess is 100% intentional. Effects interoperate in a consistent manner, but one that is still surprising to the casual observer. It's "magic," and it was the original concept behind the effect interactions.
Truth be told, I have considered switching over to the more intuitive system you suggest, but two things stop me:
- I like the current system. I like using Prestige Shot when I'm paralyzed and hoping I'll come out ahead on Agi. I like having to consider if using this buff right now will end up hurting me in the long run.
- Also, it's a lot of trouble to track order of application and all that

You're complaining when it works against you, but you said nothing when it worked in your favor (1397)! :v:
Oh, hey! I didn't even notice that omega did it to himself there.
My experience with this featurebug is that I suddenly notice that somebody has crazy stats, and then I dig though the archive 5 or 10 rounds until I figure out where it happened. Unintuitive :P
