That was a really close battle. If not for that fumble in the second-to-the-last round, you would have totally had me!

Crazy stuff!
I was even whispering to myself to not fumble. Gonk

But I guess I should put more thought into running into a fight with this Sword of Taint.

I could've told you that from the description.
One great thing about buffs/debuffs is you can test most of them through Slimebot CUSTOM before buying.

I can't recall ever seeing anyone use it.
And the description led me to believe that it might have been a Damage over Time effect >_<

But yeah, Custom should have plenty of Bucks by now.

Off Guard is great! Also, Sludgehammer Special is hit-and-miss when it comes to the effect, and Trickery gives it enough duration to be useful.

Trickery is an excellent support move, especially in a lots-on-one match.

Hey, the description on the Victory Sword says it raises MP generation by 5. Looking at #390, my regeneration rate is 25, exactly enough to use Split Splat each turn. The thing is, doing the math, 25 is what I'd get out of my 125 Int (120 base + 5 from Knight's Helm).

What happened to the 5 MP from the Victory Sword?

Just checked against the hammer.
I only got +5 mp during the first round.
Had 11 mp regeneration each turn after that with 55 int.

Maybe the description was just written wrong?

I probably haven't used enough attacks to conclude anything, but [Off Guard]...doesn't seem to do much.
Does more damage need to be done before it'll take effect or does it add a fixed amount of damage? Confused

Off Guard is I think +50% damage. In some cases, you may get better results lowering an opponent's Agi rather than using Off Guard (or both).
