Attack suggestions:
Confusion: Would apply confusion status. The confused slime would still hit their intended target most of the time, but they would suffer a risk of randomly hitting the wrong slime, including team-mates.
OR: The confused slime would hit a completely random slime regardless of who they target. Confusion status would go away when hit by most attacks (maybe add a "stops confusion" flag for all attacks?) A confused slime could cure themselves by hitting themselves. Self-targeting attacks would be the only exception to the always-hits-a-random-target thing.
I'm not suggesting both of those, but maybe one or the other.
Bravery A self-targetting attack. Would apply bravery status (foolhardy status?) which would cause you to sometimes randomly jump in front of attacks targetted at your team-mates.
Also, are there going to me equippable items that can grant immunity to specific statuses? Like something that makes you resistant to Entrance, or (if implemented) Resistant to confusion.

I had to stare at this for about twenty seconds, thinking, "How is 'entrance' possibly a status effect?" before I realized that "entrance" is both a noun and a verb.
Anyway: I could make equipment that granted one-off status resistance, but I'm doubtful as to how useful that would prove in the long run: how useful is Entranced resistance when players are packing five other debuffs? I might make an item that halves the duration of all effects, though -- that could be interesting.
I like the status suggestions. I'm planning on bigger, better effects in the future.

Team attacks -> yes
Everyone-not-on-my-team attacks -> unlikely
Absolutely everyone attacks -> perhaps

Twinconclusive, that illustration is EXACTLY what I was thinking of :)
I am having a problem. I just tried to attack in battle #70, and I got:
I seem to have lost my turn.

If I'm not mistaken, your turn took effect but wasn't posted. Can you confirm that whatever you were trying to do was done?

It should've showed up when I first hit you with it, but I was mucking with the effect code at the time. It's basically a high-grade poison.

Hmmmm... now that I look more closely at the battle log, it appears that I *gained* 5 HP on the subsequent round. Do you have the sign wrong?

That's probably coming from your 'regeneration' effect.
Maybe Mogri forgot to implement an effect again.

I pose my next suggestion in the form of a crudely photoshopped* screenshot
*Where "photoshopped" is the past participle of the verb "to photoshop", meaning to crudely manipulate a picture using any photo manipulation tool, even if it isn't actually Adobe Photoshop
EDIT: [size=x-small]this bbcode tag seems to be broken the help text for the size tag is misleading[/size]
